Positive.

The same word, bold and red, staring up at you from every single test stick that lies strewn across the floor of your bathroom. Daring you to take the plunge and flip the last of those sticks, the one that's currently lying face down on your lap, and see the result that awaits you.

It's been two minutes already, but somehow, you can't bring yourself to seal your fate yet. "This can't be happening," is what you think to yourself, your hand slowly inching towards your belly as your breathing threatens to become ragged. Your mind is in a whirl, even though in the back of your head, you know what the answer's gonna be.

You can't help it when your thoughts stray to that night with your boyfriend barely two weeks ago, reminding you of all the steamy fun the two of you had on the brink of his comeback. You're not ready to be parents yet, with Baekhyun still in his prime as an idol, and with your work taking you places as it is. You're not ready for the commitment yet, and even if you were, you don't know if he has ever even thought of having a baby.

A deep fear growing inside of you, your hand gets tentatively clenched around the test, shaking just a little as you take in breath, turning it around with your eyes closed. You're a little too afraid to look at it, but in the end, you know you're gonna have to face whatever it is, sooner or later. That's what you have in mind as you finally flip the stick towards yourself.

And the result, like a nail being stuck into your coffin, makes your insides churn as the word "Positive" catches your eye. "I really am pregnant," you can't help but think to yourself, tears welling up before starting to stream down your cheeks. That's when a memory pops up into your head, one that makes everything seem even more hopeless than it is.

It's of that one date night out when a kid had bumped into you, hitting you flat in the stomach and causing the ice-cream that you were so keen on digging into, to ruin the pretty dress you were wearing. What was even worse, however, was the way he hadn't bothered to apologize, choosing instead to poke his tongue out at the pair of you before running off, leaving Baekhyun absolutely fuming.

It was only natural that the phrase, "I really do hate kids, they're so annoying," had slipped out of your boyfriend's mouth at that moment, but right now, all it's doing is making you worry even more, making you fear the worse. Just then, you can't help but wonder if being pregnant really will mean he's going to break up with you, and even though you try to stop yourself from panicking, your brain insists on coming up with scenarios that make your toes curl, and not in a good way.

Before you know it, you're curled up on your bed with the test stick still in your hand, tears freely streaming down your face now that you know this really is happening. You're scared, beyond words too, and it doesn't help that you don't even know what you're gonna do now.

There's a small voice somewhere deep inside of you, one that's growing stronger with every minute that passes, making you feel just a little more happy when you think of the being that's now living inside of you, but at the same time, the mere thought of Baekhyun leaving you is enough to make you let out a whimper.

Wallowing in your worry, you don't even notice it when the door to the bedroom creaks open, revealing the form of your boyfriend, the smile on whose face soon morphs into a look of concern as his feet quickly carry him to you. It's only when he actually calls out to you that you snap out of your thoughts, crying even harder as he pulls you into his chest.

"Shhh, I'm here, okay? I'm here," is what he says, cooing to you softly as he runs his hand up and down your back. He holds you close, repeating those words over and over. But what he doesn't notice at first is how they only make you cry harder. You just can't seem to stop, your tears staining his T-shirt as you bite your lip, a soft whisper of "But you'll leave soon, forever," escaping you before you can stop yourself.

Even though you hadn't meant for that to be heard, he does hear it, louder and clearer than he would have wanted to. It makes him pull away from you, an incredulous expression on his face as he tries to make you look up, only to fail when you refuse to, continuing to stare at your lap, your hand lying tightly clasped around "something."

And it's that something which catches his eye in the end, his eyebrows getting scrunched as his fingers slowly get wrapped around your own, your hand no match for his as he effortlessly pulls the test stick away from you, his eyes quickly falling to the one word that covers the display.

That's your cue to finally look up, your eyes searching his face for confusion, anger, sadness....anything. But instead, what you get is something you weren't expecting, but something that your heart needed to see. His smile, the one that you can tell from a mile away is genuine, his eyes turning into crescents as his cheeks get stretched up, his eyelashes getting splashed with something that looks notoriously like tears.

And then when his arms get wrapped around you once more, you're positive that you, and the life growing inside you, will be alright.

Note: Heyyyyy hahahahaha I am back! but this time I want to try to write for someone else and that being my all time idol Baekhyunniee!! this is a very short 400 words fanfic but I’m planning to write more about Baekhyun if this drabble’s feedback is positive🤍 Happy reading, stay healthy, and happy!

It was too sunny of a morning to wake up, but you did it anyways. You thought the sun was beautiful, and the heat that enters your window— seeped through your skin is enchanting. But so does the arms wrapped around your middle, the sweet giggle that follow from the said person. Your morning hasn’t started if those laughter haven’t started either. Baekhyun, your soon-to-be-released-from-military Fiancé does know how to make people’s morning a living dream, and oh does he know how to make yours a living dream.

“Jagiya, it’s late… Let me go…” you said, dragging your voice in a teasing lilt. You had hoped that he moved his arms away, but that would mean that you don’t know Baekhyun well. His arms tightened around you and his breath fanning on your neck.

“Not a chance” He rasps, plump pink lips tracing marks all around the skin of your neck. Baekhyun can be a very stubborn man when he wants to be, yet you fall in love with that side of him too, as you do with all sides of him. “At some point we have to get up, or i’ll pass out from starvation” You muses in a sing-song manner, making the man on your side grumbles and buries his face deeper on the crook of your neck.

“You’re mean.” He says, as you can feel his lips forms a pout on your neck which makes you laugh and slaps his exposed bicep. “Me? never Mr. Byun” You giggled, knowing he has a love-hate relationship with that word, he said once that he isn’t so fond of being called by his last name; you asked why, but at the time he just shrugged.

“Baby” He says warningly, as he lift his head up to stare at your face. You’re glowing, he thought— the love of his life shined by the morning light, by his side. He could cry from the utter joy he feels from waking up by your side every morning, well on days where He’s home. So he leans down to give you small pecks on your face, ending on giving your lips a small loving kiss.

“I can’t wait to marry you.” He gasped out against your cheek, which makes them warm instantly. You pushed him on the chest and huffed out. “Stop saying stuff like that without warning!” You glared at him, which he responded with a knowing smirk.

The smell of alcohol & grease in the air, he threw his leg over to straddle you, naturally grinding. He stopped suddenly, then looked at you. “Can I..?” “Yes, now shut up and kiss me already.” he dives back into the kiss, grinding his hips onto your thigh, feeling better than ever since his senses are heightened.

Baekhyun sat on your lap with the rest of the members around, and they thought nothing of it. Baekhyun is like that, so they just simply went on about their talking and chilling while he sat on your thigh. “Can I try something?” he asks you in a low voice. You thought it would be some stupid little joke he would pull, so you just agreed. Then on your thigh, you felt rubbing. Your eyes widen, suprised at his actions. “What are you doing?!” you say in a low voice. “Please let me finish...” he whines, hips already getting a bit wild. “Don’t bring any attention over here.” you say. He was getting too loud, so you had to bring him into one of Chanyeol’s rooms and finish what you started there.

Jongdae

He was highly debating on whether to ask you or not. You haven’t shown any romantic nor sexual feelings towards him, so if you rejected him he would be a little bit depressed for a while. He paced in his room, repeating to himself “Ah... this is frustrating.” You guys were planning to hang out today so he considered if today was the day. It was right before their Asian tour as well, so he would be able to keep his mind off you if things went left. You used the spare key to enter the house. “Dae-ya! Where are you?” you yell as you lock the door. “Coming!” he jumps and scrambles his way to the livingroom. “Why are you so shaky?” you ask him, and he freezes. “Uh.... uhm... it’s fine.” he states. You could tell it wasn’t but you left it alone. “I’ll be back.” he says, walking to the bathroom to pee from the nervousness. “How the hell am I supposed to ask her?” you hear him say while you take off your jacket and boots. After the toilet flushed, he came back to the living room, ready to start gaming. “What do you have to ask me?” you ask with a raised eyebrow. “Huh?! Oh nothing, don’t worry!” he smiles really wide. “Jongdae...” you say, knowing how he is. His face drops, then worry spreads across it. “Well... the thing is...”

Chanyeol

Chanyeol would invite you to his studio often. He trusts your music taste, so whenever you do come over you’re the DJ. Oddly enough, he realized a while back that he had sexual feelings for you. The song that you played was ‘How Many Drinks?’ by Miguel. The lyrics were getting to him, and he could feel that he was getting needy from the song alone. You were here, and if anything went wrong he would apologize. Building up the courage, he quickly asked “Can I ride you?” You looked at him, with a confused face. “What?” you say, not sure if you heard him correctly. “Your thigh, I mean. Can I ride it?” he asks again, biting his lower lip in anticipation. “Well, I mean... are you sure?” you ask as you put your phone down.
