At least eight islands in the Pacific have already disappeared because of rising sea levels. Over the next century many communities, including my family, will be displaced and lose their ancestral lands and foundation of their cultural practices. Trump removing the US from the Paris Agreement, taking climate change off the National Security Strategy, and repealing the Clean Power Plan is a slap in the face and to me, intensely personal. PLEASE contact your representatives regarding climate change and taking steps to counteract the potentially irreversible harm Trump is doing to our planet.
I am working on setting up an online store in the next month or so and it will include all of my Disney Resists prints! 10% of everything in my shop will go to the ACLU and other civil rights groups putting in the time this past year 💛

I have to say I have really enjoyed screen printing this semester. Especially monotype water color! It was really fun combining screen printing and monotype together for the final, definitely going to make more!

Hello! This is also kind of a meet the artist type thing. My name is Kayle (like Kale) but in this world I created my name is Chidori or Chi for short. I started drawing and coming up with these characters when I was 9 years old and by this time I have come up with over 300 different characters and dozens of stories to go along with these characters. If there is ever anything you would like to know about any of these profiles or theories, please feel free to message me privately! I will try to cover everything in these profiles as closely as I can, but I am human and I will probably leave out a couple of details.
Anyway, thanks for reading all of this! I hope you enjoy the stories I am trying to tell here.

Universe Theory: Vauldauna
In Chi’s Theory of the Multiverse, there are 8 universes, each one with their own special quirks about them.
God/Ruler: Vauldauna. Nobody knows if he was named after this universe or if this universe was named after him. He is absolutely brilliant in mind, but he is wicked at heart. He has a habit of kidnapping and performing genetic experiments on people from universes that aren’t his. He is represented as a tall muscular older man with a black and gray beard and salt and pepper hair that is long and stringy. He typically is depicted wearing dark clothes, a cloak made of fur and raven feathers, and huge combat boots, no shirt and leather pants. His hands are also solid black and drip with dark plasma.
Characteristics: The Vauldauna universe is a universe riddled with war, constant fighting, and destruction. Legends say that the original darkness once resided here.
Residents: This is where dark creatures come from, for example, there are races of dark elves, demonic dragons, goo monsters, tentacle monsters and much more truly evil creatures. However, Vauldauna is also the origin of a very special race of creatures called Dauns and Dusques. Dauns live in places where bad things happen and are considered good luck charms, but Dusques life in places where good things happen and are considered bad luck charms.

“I was born in Mumbai, India in 2037 to my mother and father who were very devout Bhudists. I went to school in India, and everything was fairly normal about my childhood. My parents loved me, they treated me like a princess, but not a brat. I was a pretty good kid... To their faces.
“I had a tendency to get in trouble at school, but it somehow never got back around to them. And if it did I doubt they believed them because they truly believed that I was their little angel, so to speak. However, things started changing. Not all at once, but slowly weird things started happening. My emotions would cause things to happen, if I got angry about something then objects would fly across the room and there was even one time when my parents were praying, forcing me to pray alongside them when all of a sudden the Buddha started crying. Blood. It was then that my parents finally figured out that there was something wrong with me, or at least my mom did. My dad thought it was a gift and that I needed to be taught how to use these powers for good. So, they sent me off to a Buddhist temple where other kids like me were taken to learn how to use powers like this.
"At first everything was fine, I was learning a lot, soaking in all of the knowledge that I possibly could before I started trying to actually USE my powers. When I was finally comfortable with my knowledge of my powers, I started trying to apply the things that I learned. However, all of my spells started backfiring, not working or just all around failing. I got so frustrated; I could make a friggin Buddha statue cry blood but I couldn't even transform a soon into a fork! Some of the other kids started bullying me because of this, and some of them even spat on me and told me to leave. So, being the person that I didn't. I stayed as long as I could, soaking in as much knowledge as I could. However, it came to the attention of the teachers that I wasn't actually able to cast spells effectively. By this time I was about 15 years old, so I had been there about 5 years. Honestly, though why did it take them so long to notice that I wasn't able to cast? Oh well, anyway. So, they kicked me out, and instead of going home. I left. and I made way for America.
“Which turns out was a huge mistake. When I got to America I couldn’t manage to get a job. At the time the market has crashed again, and it was immensely difficult for anybody to get a job in the US. But I was determined. Somehow I found myself in Louisiana, living in the bayous and swamps of New Orleans and bartering with some of the locals, making potions for their crops and for their kids for when they got sick. The tree outside of my house was a really great source of nutrients during times where I couldn't buy food, or when I couldn't barter with the locals. It was delicious fruit that was like kiwi, but instead of green, it was a really pretty gradient of blue with a white and smooth outer skin. Man, I ate dozens of those in a day most of the time.
"Sometime later, things started happening again. My belongings would disappear, and then reappear some days and sometimes weeks later. There was even a time or two where I myself would wake up somewhere... Different... but soon after I would wake up, I would flicker back into my house. Somehow, I was able to transport myself and things though time and space. After that, I left. I left Earth and that time period and I never looked back."
At least that's how she remembers it. Basically, everything is the same, except for the part after she left the Buddhist temple. When she got to America and was living in Louisiana, things were not good. The locals did not take well to the fact that she was a witch, they knew immediately that she was different, not just because she was Indian, but the fact that she actually tried to sell them potions. So, there being still racists and irrational people in the world during this time, she was kidnapped, tortured, drowned, dragged to death, shot and even raped half to death. When the people finally got tired of dealing with her, they threw her half-dead body back into her house, locked her in and burned the house to the ground.
After the fire died down, Vauldauna, the God of the Universe of Darkness, (see Universe Theory: Vauldauna) found her and took her into his care. He cleaned her memory, placing these false memories into her mind of a fairly more reasonable life, making her feel like she isn't a failure. He then used this same technique to brainwash her, placing blocks in her mind that would block these terrible memories. He also took the fruit that she spoke of, the Zeit Frucht (time fruit) but not just a tree: no. He took an entire planet covered in the fruit, compressed it and its power and infused it with her body, giving her the ability to travel through time. He then rigged her brain to preverbally 'blow' when anybody tried to tamper with her memories, like probing her mind and would cause an enormous rip in the time-space continuum. He essentially turned her into a new generation of a super-weapon project that he started a long time ago: he turned her into an Armageddon Brother, the Sister of Time's End. (See Character Profiles: Armageddon Brothers)

Theories : The Multiverse
When we first began this story of heroism and the development of many relationships and bonds, we first noticed that there were, in fact, more universes out there other than the one that we live in. At first, we discovered seven known universes that were within our immediate vicinity:
• Terran/Gaia Universe (Where Earth is located)
• Superian Universe
• Anthro Universe
• Heaven
• Hell
• Purgatory
• Vauldauna
Each universe came with its own pros and cons.
Recently we learned that there was originally an 8th universe that was somehow wiped off of the face of the star maps, which apparently caused a ripple in the time-space continuum and cause a lot of mayhem with the rest of the clusters.
In particular, there was a war that took place and for the longest time; we all thought that it was all because there were two Universes in particular who just flat out did not like each other and often disagreed on well everything. However, this was not entirely the case, it was in fact because one of these universes was the cause for the 8th universe to disappear. This 8th universe that was wiped off of the star maps was the Auric universe, the apparent source of all energy that our cluster of universes needed to maintain it's shape and not implode on itself.
That's when we asked a very important question: how come, if this universe had been gone, completely obliterated for oh, I don't know thousands of years, then why have we not all died? Why have we not run out of power to sustain everyday life and our life forces in general? Well, now we know the answers to these questions, but that is all for a later date.
Upon further inspection of the multiverse, we discovered that there were, even more, secrets hidden in plain sight: for the longest time it was thought that the original 7(well, 8) universes were the only universes that existed, that there was nothing else out there, but we soon discovered that this was incredibly wrong. In fact, there are numerous clusters out there, many of them designed and just like ours, with two or three universes where life primarily takes place, two or three "Afterlife" universes and then one universe that connects them all to the main trunk of the body of the ever-expanding multiverse.
Now at this point in reading this one may ask "but wait, what is the main 'trunk of the body'? what is it made of?" and the answer is simple.
Time.
Because without time nothing can exist.

Character Profile : Rayne Osiris Statlin
Age: 30
Race: Human/Shiekan/Mechanian
Gender: Female
Orientation: Bisexual
Likes: Technology, Coffee, cantaloup
Dislikes: Rudeness, milk, tomatoes
Hobbies: Tinkering with machines, programming computers, exercising, preferably yoga.
Rayne Osiris Statlin grew up in Ireland with her mother and father, Alice Statlin and Mercy Statlin. When she was very young she fell ill with a very mysterious illness which was literally causing her internal organs to rot. Now one might say “so cancer?” but no, not cancer at all. Whatever was wrong with her, it was literally turning her organs to black sludge, causing her immense pain and discomfort on a day to day basis. However, this did not stop her brilliant mind from creating and doing things. She would build and work on machines every day, even as a little girl, starting at age three and four. When she was ten years old her body finally gave up and would no longer sustain her. Thankfully, thanks to her brilliant mind she was able to develop a technology that would transfer her brain into a robotic body that she built and designed herself. At first, her colleagues didn’t believe that it would work, but with the help of Dr. Daniel Carson she was able to develop a robotic body with a mechanical skeletal system and muscles with an organic exterior. After this advance leap, Rayne began expanding her industrial empire, creating prosthetic limbs and organs for people across the universes. She was even able to make the temporal transplant happen for several people who were willing to pay the price.
