based on that one post, can i get a Harvey reacting to the Farmer who's eating the books after reading them at a un-yoba-ly pace? bonus points if they're married!

Pffff! Eating books 🤣 You probably mean this post, dear anon, right?

I got such a laugh out of that headcanon. In this ask, though, I changed the script a bit, namely that it was Harvey who thought the Farmer was literally eating the books, when in fact the books just disappear from their hands after reading (like the spell book in Skyrim that disappear from Dovakhiin's inventory forever when read). Farmer was always fond of eating something tasty during an interesting reading. Harvey also knew this habit of his spouse, so one evening, when they were both resting from a hard day, Harvey prepared tea with healthy sweets and fruits for himself and Farmer.

They gratefully took the plate of food, not forgetting to kiss their caring husband, then immediately stuffed their mouths with a few slices of orange, and sat down at a chair near the cozy fireplace. Harvey sat down in another chair that was close by.

Farmer asked Harvey to give him a book they had recently bought, and the doctor gladly complied with their request. No sooner had he asked what the book was about than the said object disappeared from Farmer's hands.

It's a good thing Harvey put aside his cup of tea at that moment, or he would have dropped it on his pants for sure. Farmer had forgotten to tell their husband that their bookreading was going on a little.... different. Seeing Harvey's face go pale, they began to gibber their explanation quickly (with mouth still full of orange's slice).

However, the doctor himself did not perceive any information at the moment, as his brain began to search for a logical explanation of what had just happened before his eyes. The book had just been here, and it was now gone, Farmer wouldn't have time to throw it away so quickly, Farmer's mouth was full of something...

The formula is: Vanished book + Farmer's mouth full = ?! Hold on...

"Dear, did you just eat... a book?" Such a question almost made Farmer choke and freeze in place. Harvey stood up and slowly walked over to his spouse, who squirmed in their chair in fear. "Darling, spit out the paper, please."

Never had the Farmer seen the doctor look so menacing. It frightened them so much that they took and swallowed the food at last. Harvey took it a little too emotionally.

"Farmer! Why did you swallow the book!" The worried doctor immediately took Farmer by the arm to go with them to the clinic for a gastric lavage. And Farmer realised that they would have to spend a very long time explaining the concept of spell and magic tomes.

What are your thoughts on the bachelors heights??? I've been thinking a lot about Harvey and how much of a gentle giant he is, and I know you'd have some thoughts as well haha

!! harvey headcanons w/ his height

contains ; fem!farmer. mostly fluff. suggestive. reader is implied to be short / average height. tw; me saying like 10,000 times. sorta size kink. established relationship.

note ; i was gonna do all of them but i got too carried away lol

- he’s like, 6’2, 6’3.

- and omfg…

- one of the first things you noticed about him was his height.

- when you were popping into various shops to introduce yourself and see what the town had to offer,

- obviously you’re not gonna miss the man TOWERING over the counter just feet away.

- and when you got closer to properly say hello, you were nearly craning your neck.

- he’s smiling to be polite, the corners of his eyes crinkling as he leans down to show he’s not intimidating.

- i feel like one of his insecurities might be his height a little bit.

- just because he’s aware of how tall he is, and how much it makes him stand out.

- ik he hates the attention it brings to him when he’s out in public.

- i feel like he lowkey tries to hide it, too.

- like, trying to sit in a chair when he’s in a crowd of people, flatter fitting shoes, hunching a bit when he feels distracting.

- but other then that, i don’t really think he minds all that much.

- maybe he did when he was younger, and it was more noticeable—but at this time in his life; he has other things to dwell on.

- especially after you once admitted that you’re really attracted to that part of him, (i.e drunkenly telling him u wanted to climb him like a tree once.)

- he got a little ego boost that day😚

- even tho he’s made aware of this; he’s still utterly clueless about it.

- when you watch him duck his head a little to avoid a dip in the ceiling…lord.

- when he comes up behind you to help you reach something on the top shelf, absentmindedly placing his hand on your waist and pressing up behind you, before handing you the object and smiling innocently after the fact.

- like he had no idea what he just did.

- WHEN HE LEANS DOWN TO KISS YOU EVERY MORNING.

- even sometimes when he’ll cup his hand along your jaw so subtly, lifting your chin.

- and he STILL has NO IDEA what he’s doing.

- i just imagine like, you’re distracted looking at something outside, and he’s getting ready to leave for work but there’s no way he’s not about to kiss you goodbye like always.

- so he just cups his hand under your jaw to bring your attention back to him, planting a soft kiss, and turns to head out.

- you just look at him in awe, frozen in place, to which his face drops because now he thinks something’s wrong and he’s just like, “what? what happened😧?”

- there’s a lot of little things harvey does to remind you of your height difference.

- aside from the moments where it’s totally obvious.

- such as laying in bed together. he’s just engulfing you, feet hanging off the end if he straightens himself entirely.

- even when you stand up and he’s still laying down, and you can just see how small the bed actually is compared to him. (& after u get married u both have to go mattress shopping together 😭😭<33)

- which is also another reminder because when you sleep in his bed at home, you’re just a third of the entire mattress.

- that time when he was trying to move past you, so he placed his hands on your hips and lifted you a bit, only to then instantly remove his hands despite him being married to you for a year.

- when u try to take a bath with him😭😭

- it’s just not comfortable. it’ll never be comfortable.

- for some reason, i feel like him being oblivious to how attractive you find it, makes him more attractive.

- cus he’s not doing these things to get a rise out of you, he’s just merely existing. so for him to find out that he turns you on by just being himself…yeah. that does something to him.

- he’s so not the type to throw you around in the bedroom. he’s just not.

- & he never will be, too.

- but sometimes, when he gets into it, & he sees you underneath him…he gets it.

- how when he holds you, he’s literally holding all of you.

- only you have the capability to make him feel cocky.

- in general tho, i don’t think he thinks too sexually about it.

- although, after a while he does start to think of it as an advantage.

- when you’re passed out on the couch, or even outside, he doesn’t have to try very hard to scoop you up and carry you to bed.

- the times when you visit him at work, dropping off a cup of coffee, and all he has to do is lean over the counter to give you a chaste kiss.

- when it’s crowded while you’re brushing your teeth together in front of your tiny bathroom mirror, so he just stands behind you.

- and despite him being the sweetest, gentlest man ever,

- to the unbeknownst eye, him being so large is intimidating.

- if he were to take you out on a date in the city perhaps, where the crime rate is significantly higher, he can use his height as another excuse to keep you safe. despite you being the one that could actually do damage to a potential threat💀

- no one would want to approach a man towering over everyone else, and a woman w a fucking sword sticking out of her backpack😊

- if that were the case, he’d do anything for you.

- even when you’re in the comfort and safety of your little town, he’d still do anything for you. i don’t think there’s any surprise in that.

- he likes the fact that you’re at the perfect height to rest your forehead on his shoulder when you come up behind him.

- & vise versa, when he wants to rests his chin on your head.

- i think it’s safe to say that one of his favorite ways of showing affection is kissing you right on the top of your head.

- he really is a gentle giant 😭😭🩷
