Author and artist Inspired by Japanese culture I do mostly traditional drawing with copic markers. Trying to post more art here--I do a lot of original work, but fanart may slip in; working also on my vampire novel, which is pinned at the top of my blog. I really appreciate any support I can get!

These are my kitty cats, Moo (L) and Gojo (R).
I had to put Gojo down last Monday. He was about 15 and suffering from kidney failure, but he was the sweetest cat in the world. Great temperament, very friendly, loved people, amazingly clingy for a cat. I got him while I was in college, and he traveled all around with me. His loss has been heartbreaking for me and my family, but I am amazed at how the bonds of love to our pets can transcend even death.
Moo loved Gojo probably more than she loved anything, and I worry how she'll cope with his death, though she seems to be fine for now. She's ten going on eleven, and she's gotten very fat. I rescued her from a feral life in the shed, so she is quite wary of people, but she is a good kitty who has never scratched or bitten anyone. Currently, she's on a new diet.
I apologize this is not the happiest of pet posts, but I am trying to process the loss of a dear friend, and I appreciate the opportunity to think about the things I loved in my cat.
I appreciate you and your blog, too, as always.
Tell me about ur PETS (photos encouraged)

"That's okay. I'll get to know you again."

Adobe is going to spy on your projects. This is insane.
