Sooooooo I havent had the motivation to draw for a long while lately but I’ve been thinking a lot about one of my favorite ocs, Rothgar and decided to draw him and somehow changed my entire artstyle in the process and this looks BANGIN AS FUCK LIKE WHAT THE HELL HOW DID I DO THIS

Anyways heres the messy lil uncolored sketch too cause I thought it was neat :3

Thinking about Rothgar with Chronic pain due to the fact he’s been brought back from literal death, had a leg amputated, and had his plate armor heat-fused into his scales from a steam breath attack.

Mans hurts ALL the time

I know i’ve been dormant for a hot minute, life has just been so busy but i am in the background going a tad bit feral for a new bloodborne ov of mine, Vincent who is tortyred by a fewr of the world around him and a ravenous urge within that spurs him towards the hunt :3

Currently exploding cause I just considered Frostbite and Crocus in a scene set decades after Jasper’s death and with Crocus being so young and happy go lucky set to “Do it for Her” and im EXPLODINGGGGGGAAAAAAAAA

I havent had a lot of energy for drawing lately but here’s a messy sketch of yet another wof oc, Hornet! A hivewing/silkwing for the Dragons of The Fall AU!!!!! :D later in the storyline but i love them

I cannoottttt stop thinking about Frostbite as a character cause oh my god I love him

The way he starts out as some happy go-lucky enrdy kid excited to learn more about animus magic and then ends as a jaded, tired old man who will outlive time itself but still wants to see the good in other dragons even as hes proved again and again of the worst a dragon could be

The way he and darkstalker are SUCH good character foils what with darkstalker being so angry and revenge hungry while Frostbite is sad and doesnt want his power or his authority at all and only preforms it out of necessity

The way Frostbite is icewing/seawing and one glance would show Darkstalker features of both Fathom and Arctic and how that would enrage him ever more meanwhile Frostbite looks at darkstalker and sees his old friend Grimborne on the path he took anyways and Frostbite is just so full of mournful yearning as he wants Darkstalker to be good so badly but he can see their hurt he causes other dragons and- AAAAAAAAAA

Hello yes I know I’ve dissappeared into the abyss again but I bring you:

Yet another Wings Of Fire oc

This precious boyo is Crocus!! :D

He is an Icewing/Rainwing Hybrid from a part of my Dragons Of The Fall AU that takes place a good few decades after the “New Reigency” and the main plot of Arc 1

Hes an Arc 2 dragonet for now in my brain and hes kinda an aloof goofball who is oftwn bullied cause hes “too icewing to be a rainwing and too rainwing to be an icewing”

His fangs didnt form with the muscles that allow them to retract so they’re kinda just always out like that and he was also hatched without venom or frost-breath.

He deeply enjoys sun-time though he still runs as cold as ice and cant camoflouge his scales the same way other rainwings can, the most he can do is shift his scales to be entirely reflective silver like a mirror!

He’s also inspired by the Crocus flower in color and style!!!

I cant stop thinking about Frostbite’s future thousands of years in the future where he mourns the loss of his wife who died from old age and regales his decendents with tales of her power and beauty while also reining King of the icewings and he wishes nothing more than to be able to join his wife on the other side but hes enchanted himself to not only be immortal and unkillable but to also be immune to all animus magic including his own so he can never remove the enchantment that forces him to see the end of the world itself, cursed to live forever watching the faces of those he loves dissappear into age until he becomes a tired, bitter recluse who rarely takes students or grants the gift of magic he promised the kingdom when he became king

A very specific OC of mine that has been rotting my brain lately and I’m obsessed with this messy practice sketch I did for dragon anatomy practice.

I like to reference any seawings or seawing hybrids off of leopard seals and it just fits Frostbite’s face so well and then the icewing features on top of it all make this sooooo cool.

I’m gonna try and clean this one up a bit more but detail may get lost in it as always so I figured the world deserved to see this amazing sketch I did in like 13 minutes

Also here’s the song I’ve been listening to on repeat and thinking about him cause oh my god this song suits him so well as soon as I learn more about krita and get comfy with it im gonna make an animatic probably (or try to)

Been workin on this for the last 3 or so hours and had to adjust his design to be less complicated for pixel art, but BEHOLD!!!! :D my lil guy frostbite in pixel gif form!!!

It's OCtober Community Week! This is my bestie's D&D character, Finch!! He's a warlock/rogue who grafted his soul onto his sister's to keep her alive. He's also a gay disaster, which just comes with the territory of being a tiefling I think.

Okay I know I signed up to do the entirety of OCtober and I still will do my beat to attempt some more days, but unexpectedly these next few weeks are crazy busy for me and I ran out of queued posts. Tumblr is going to absolutely EAT the quality of these I just know it but I had to put all these guys into soooo many templetes!!!! I only used my dnd characters for the dnd chart because well- obvious reasons, but these were really fun to do I’d honestly love to make more of these charts they’re so fun~
