TS3 “cannot change style” glitch: A SOLUTION

I was very happily trying jools-simming’s nice tutorial when the dreaded “cannot change style” occured. Saying that I was extremely frustrated is an understatement, but as I discovered by the usual trial-and-error method, there’s a way to fix it!

Make sure you have Nraas’ Debug Enabler installed.

In Live Mode, click on the not-recolorable counter/island/object and select Nraas > Debug Enabler > Options: [object name].

Then select Object > Reset Textures > This object.

Et voilà, you can now use CAST again and change the style of the object as you wish.

Publishing this because who knows, it could be useful to someone else experiencing the same (annoying) glitch :)

💓 This great mod allows you build your own custom Rabbit Holes! Just make a separate room in your building on a Community lot with a minimum size of 5x5, install a Rug or a Door in it – and the building will work like a Rabbit Hole!

Non-Default Replacement! Now you have 3 options for each Rabbit Hole – the buildings by EA, the Rug and the Door! You can use them all at the same time or choose any of them! Just put the selected files in Mods/Packages.

Don’t forget that you can rename any Rabbit Hole using s3pe, or directly in the game using NRaas DebugEnabler.

Originally this mod was made in 2010 by cazarupt in the galaxy far, far away… Than remade by Jynx, than remade and updated to Late Night by Raven Shadow, MTS… Than partly updated for University Life by Margaret Pendragon and others… than… than… Than lost in sands of time.

Well, here we go.

💓 Этот потрясающий мод заменяет огромные и не всегда уместные здания «кроличьих нор» на двери и компактные коврики. С ним Вы можете построить собственное здание для любой карьеры! Не забудьте сделать в нем особую комнатку (желательно без окон, размером не меньше чем 5х5), разместить в ней коврик или дверь (стрелками наружу!) соответствующей «норы» – и  Ваша постройка будет работать как обычная «кроличья нора»! И даже лучше – ведь свое здание Вы можете не только построить в Вашем собственном стиле, но и оборудовать его удобствами, предметами для навыков, отдыха или развлечений, чтобы симы могли перевести дух после рабочего дня.

Этот мод делали и дорабатывали разные авторы в разное время, сейчас найти актуальную версию почти невозможно.

Единственное надежное «хранилище модов» – это MTS, но там только версия Raven Shadow, которая была заброшена в 2011 году и не имеет очень важного обновления под патч Pets.

Поэтому – вот полный архив!

Все моды собраны вместе, обновлены для версии 1.63-1.67 и переведены на Русский язык!

Roy sees Anya’s eyes go dark with fury, and the next thing he is aware of is her hand slicing the air, then the noise of her palm as it connects with his face, the echo reverberating around his skull, rattling his teeth. He sits down heavily on the thick carpet, feeling out of breath, his heart pumping, his cheek stinging. He looks up wordlessly at Anya, her breasts heaving in her red bikini top. She looks magnificent.

“Fuck you, Roy,” she says. “FUCK. YOU.”

Then she turns and sprints into the bathroom, slamming the door. He can hear the lock turn, and the gush of water. He sits on the floor for another few minutes, his mind and body frozen. Then he hauls himself to his feet and knocks on the bathroom door.

"Baby?" he says.

"GO AWAY," Anya yells.

"I'm sorry for what I said," he says. "Truly sorry. I deserved to be slapped. I deserved to be pushed off a cliff, probably. Open the door. Please?"

Sims 3 Gameplay Mods

I was going through MTS looking for mods to improve my gameplay and thought I would share the ones I downloaded!

Livestreaming Mod - Allows your sims to livestream from a PC for tips, blog followers, and celebrity points.

More Pregnancy Interactions - Adds more options for the pregnant sim and more social interactions with all age groups!

Yoga Mod - Allows your sim to do yoga and also lead a yoga class for simoleons.

Laundromat Fix - Actually empties the laundry hamper on your sims home lot when using a washing machine at a laundromat.

Dirty Laundry Mod - Gives your sim a negative moodlet when dirty laundry hasn't been washed in a few days. Gives more incentive to do your sims laundry!

Layoff Mod - Gives your sim a 2% chance at the end of every work day of being laid off. Depending on their work level they may get unemployment benefits.

Nicer Vendors - Overrides the default animations when interacting with vendors, looks more friendly.

Acne Mod - Gives teens-adults a chance of waking up with acne. Adds washing face options and applying acne toner at sink.

Sunscreen - Allows you to buy sunscreen from the store, will protect sims from getting a sunburn with Seasons installed. Works on vampire sims as well.

Restaurant Host Career - Allows your sim to work part time at diners/bistros as a host. Only 1 career level.

TSM > TS3 Facial Expressions - Overrides most s3 facial expressions with the sims medieval ones making them a lot more realistic and natural looking.

One With Nature - Allows your sims to sleep outside on ground, wash themselves in bodies of water, and go to the bathroom outside. Needs Nraas traveler mod to work. (Good for apocalyptic gameplays/adding realism?? haha)

Walk Cycle Edits - Overrides original walk cycles so there's no forced smile, allowing your sims to make facial expressions based on mood/surroundings.

The Randomizer Mod - Triggers more random events that effect your household. Adds more realism and can effects the relationships/friendships your sims have. (Can choose between which random event modules you want in your game based on play style!)

More Negative Moodlets - Negative moodlets cause a greater effect on your sims mood making it a bit more realistic.

please feel free to amend the floor plan and general aesthetic of the house however you see fit (make it your own!) but please don't claim credit.

after 2 long months.... i present... @sentate 's violet collection! which can be found here! it took awhile bc i got sidetracked but then i would also get issues here and there, but i finally figured everything out! @toadifylackoffantasy helped tremendously, with doing some bones and providing helpful tips+steps. @thornowl helped figure out a morph issue with the julieta dress. so thank you to them! if anyone has any issues, let me know!

I’m fairly proud of this world as it is the first thing I’ve ever completed in CAW.

I OWN ALL SPs AND EPs SO I MIGHT HAVE USED CERTAIN OBJECTS FROM THOSE (although they’ll be replaced so no biggie). Also I believe the grass might be from Lucky Palms (Roaring heights, but I’m 80% sure it’s Lucky Palms) (I don’t know if you need it for it to work though…)

You can use this world however you want, just credit where credit is due! Also tag Foxwick so that I can check out what you guys have done with it!

I don’t have a save for this out as of now, but one will probably come out sometime soon.
