narc abuse is the idea that narcissistic people (as in those with npd - narcissistic personality disorder) are inherently abusive and/or abuse people differently from people without npd. soemone who believes "narc abuse" is real is called a "narc abuse truther/believer."

this is just wrong as you can't abuse someone with narcissism (you can do bad things in reaction to disordered symptoms but your disorder doesn't solely make you do bad things) and it demonises people with npd to make them all seem like abusers, not to mention that people usually get npd as a result of trauma/abuse.

being abusive due to self centered-ness is not something exclusive to people with npd.

saying npd abuse is real is like saying autism abuse is real since both are disorders that can make people act self centered in certain situations (in npd someone may have no empathy and in autism someone may have aggression issues from overstimulation/not understanding something).

also, no two people with a disorder act the same anyway. by saying narc/disorder abuse is real you undermine the abuse as you blaim it on their mental illness rather than that person's actual choices/actions.

these are all things anyone can do so tying abuse to specific disorders, there are so "abusive disorders". narc abuse believers have clearly just repackaged the "all mentally ill people/people with personality disorders are evil" mantality
