I could try to see if I can maybe figure out a lore reason as to why, but honestly it'd probably still be an issue, since if I were to draw them people would just think that it's Steve and Alex-

yk what fuck it, I'm gonna share my fan unit with y'all

these are my four Project Sekai OCs: Miari Shimizu, Aiku Kazama, Raisei Hiyama, and Syouma Takahashi

(made them with the pjsekai oc maker thingy bc I'm too tired to draw rn. they're not super accurate tho, especially the guys, so I'll try to draw them all later)

they're a figure skating group that focuses on making their own songs, skating to them, and filming cinematic/theatrical music videos of their performances. their goal is to keep pushing their limits, and inspire each other to do just that.

I haven't settled on a unit name for them yet, but they're mainly snow/winter themed, with their sekai being a winter wonderland of sorts ('Snowy Sekai'?).

(also thank you @zuliuli for giving me the idea of them being performing ice skaters :D)

MAIN STORY PREMISE:

the leader of the group is Miari. she's a composer and she enjoys performing to songs she writes and filming music videos of her performances. she's always flown solo, but due to not having any friends, her mother is worried for her. to ease her mother's worries, Miari comes up with an idea for a music video that involves multiple skaters. she then recruits three other skaters for the project:

Aiku (competitive skater & choreographer)

Raisei (competitive skater & costume designer)

Syouma (figure skater & lyricist)

all of them fly solo as well.

things are a bit awkward and tense between everyone at first, but in the end they warm up to each other and the music video goes well. but despite this, everyone's very hesitant to do anything more together outside of that, since they're all so used to doing things independently. as a result, after the music video is completed, they go their separate ways.

Miari ends up feeling more disappointed by this than she expected. she had a good time with the others, and she decides that she wants to keep performing with them. she then tries to find the others and ask if they would be down to form a group together. Aiku and Raisei are the first to agree, while Syouma takes a bit longer to convince, but Miari stepping outside of her comfort zone ends up inspiring Syouma to do so as well.

CHARACTER BACKSTORIES:

Miari hasn't had many friends throughout her life, due to growing up too fast to really be able to form connections with her peers. because of this she's grown to enjoy being alone more than being in the company of others. she's typically fine not talking with other students and keeping to herself, however, feelings of loneliness are starting to grow.

Aiku is well liked, however he doesn't really have any actual friends. he's quite self reliant, and when it comes to his goals he believes the path to success will be easier if he puts in all the work himself and doesn't rely on others. he's starting to feel lonely in this bubble he's created, however, and wonders if what he's doing is actually right for him.

Raisei has a good amount of trust issues, due to a lot of his friends during his early childhood eventually turning him away or leaving him. due to this he doesn't socialize a ton, since he thinks that eventually they'll all leave anyways. and so, he's always preferred to work alone. he can't deny, however, that he still feels quite lonely.

Syouma is very socially anxious, and has attended school virtually since junior high. he was a lot more confident as a kid, but after starting school a lot of that went away. he's not super comfortable socializing with others, but he eventually finds himself wanting more out of life than just hiding away.

I was gonna name my sona Prism originally, bc colors and stuff, but I couldn't figure out a good username to go with it, so I went with Ziiro.

I've come up with an idea for one tho, which also suits a redesign I have in mind for 'em, sooo... perhaps..?

I like the idea of Prism tho, bc my whole thing atm is that I'm trying to experiment with colors :>

I think it's been about 2 years since I last drew my Miitopia hero, Amos, but they're probably one of my favorite ocs in terms of design.

(they have no idea that they're about to get their heart broken numerous times)

I was struggling to figure out why Amos, my Miitopia MC, would be able to take an extended amount of time off from his college professor job to wander the world, and was worried that it would be unrealistic for them to do that

but

I literally forgot that sabbatical is a thing that exists for this very purpose

something interesting I just remembered about my ocs Agnes and Beau (+ everyone else), from when they were first created 7 years ago and were still Minecraft ocs, is that I apparently hinted that they were from the Minecraft Storymode universe??

I always forget that I did that-

like at first it's just, y'know, typical Minecraft narrative, Herobrine's there, sure, and then suddenly the enchanted flint and steel is mentioned along with Stampy?? out of nowhere??

idek if I still have this version anywhere, it'd be in one of my old school notebooks, but it's possible that I threw it away-

Noah loves meeting and helping people, but sometimes it's difficult to say goodbye.

a part of him wishes they'd stick around for just a bit longer.

maybe to alleviate some pressure I feel regarding my main ocs atm, I might try and put some focus on ocs that I've been neglecting in order to work on my main ones.

might even draw some of my abandoned ocs since I kinda miss most of 'em 👍

trying out a new technique where I just sketch with shapes and colors, so I can jump right into the rendering process, and used Jesse as my test subject 👍

in their earliest years of development, I actually intended for them to have romantic feelings for each other.

over time though, I started to feel like that kind of relationship didn't really suit them, resulting in them now being in a QPR.

I love writing QPRs so much, especially since I still don't rly understand romance lol

need to redesign my main group of ocs again I think (I'm mostly just not feeling their outfits, plus I don't think I've drawn any of the others besides Agnes and Beau in a hot minute)

if I do I'm thinking of redrawing their OG, old designs alongside the new ones as well

just as a sort of comparison

and maybe I'll like talk about their history and stuff (even tho Beau's is a bit embarrassing lol)

I also probably wanna rework their story again, the alternate dimension story idea's starting to show too many things I don't rly like about it ;-; (plus I have a new OC who hops between worlds/dimensions now anyways)

so I'll be trying to think on ideas for that if I do ultimately decide to scrap it.

my new (and first ever) Minecraft Storymode OC that I've created for a MCSM DND campaign :DD

he's a troubadour, which is this campaign's equivalent of a bard.

the campaign I'm participating in takes place in the portal hallway, and this oc is from a flower world. he uses music to calm down carnivorous flowers, alongside that he also protects people on the surface from them, guiding them to wherever they need to go.

finally started the save file for these ocs, so once my art block's gone I'll probably get around to drawing stuff related to 'em :]

some of their info might become outdated as I play and figure out their lore as I do so, but yeah

a lot of their info might change after I play with them, since I haven't actually touched them in over a year lol

this was supposed to be a slight redesign of Harbor, but they barely look any different :']

anyways, the reason I drew this is bc now that Harbor’s no longer my persona, I'm probably gonna change a lot of stuff about 'em

when they became my persona (again), I made them a guy despite them having been a woman for the vast majority of their existence, bc I'm trans and I figured it'd be cool if they were too.

but now that Harbor's not my sona anymore, I'm thinking of having her be a woman again, since she no longer has to represent who I am.

also will be changing her name, but idk what it'll be yet. (most of her alternate universe versions are named Agnes or Abigail, but I'm not rly feeling either of those for this one)
