My the summer i turned pretty prediction for Jeremiah:

We're going to get Jeremiah's perspective on Cabo and Lacy and spring break. And the cheating will happen, and there's no excuse for it, but I think Jeremiah was telling the truth about the sex with Lacy not mattering to him. I think it happened in reaction to Jere drunkenly kissing, or even just thinking about, another guy (perhaps Redbird???). I think he had a full bisexual panic in Cabo and fell into bed with the first girl he could find as a result.

We know Jeremiah is bisexual, we've known it since season one. and back then he seemed out and proud. BUT. But. That was when Susannah was alive. That was when Susannah was around to protect him. From what we've seen of Adam "finance bro" Fisher, do you really think that guy will love his son unconditionally, and support Jeremiah if he had a male partner? No way in hell.

It absolutely doesn't excuse Jeremiah's behavior at all, he's been a really immature dick, especially to Belly. But it does explain a lot of it. This is (partially) why he's trying extra hard with his dad now, this is why he's clinging so hard to Belly, why he wants the wedding to happen so fast. This is also why, I think, Susannah asked Conrad to look after Jeremiah. I don't think she ever even fathomed that Jere and Belly would last this long, but I think she knew that someday Jere could bring a boy home, and Adam wouldn't tolerate it. She knew Jere would need Conrad's support more than ever, because she wouldn't be there to protect him anymore.

So, maybe the wedding doesn't happen solely because of Belly and Conrad. Or, maybe, Redbird and Jere get up to some shenanigans during the bachelor party and Jere realizes he really can't go through with the wedding until he actually figures himself out.

Like, what do you mean Poseidon has a favorite demigod son who ends up repeating Odysseus's own travels? A son who gets turned into a guinea pig by Circe? A son who has to survive Scylla and Charybdis and the Sirens? A son who must save his best friend from his brother, Polyphemus? A son who gets stranded on Calypso's island? A son who gets heartbreakingly separated from the love of his life, a daughter of Athena? Like, I'm sure Odysseus likes Percy Jackson, considering what wife guys they both are, but our boy Ody is cackling at Poseidon's predicament.
