How big is your enamel pin board? Do you have a picture of it??

I actually have multiple boards!

I put all my spooky pins on this one. It's 17 X 11 and you can either prop it on a surface with the included easel, or it has a saw tooth hanger if you want to mount it on the wall. This is the first board I ever got because I couldn't mount things to my wall at the time and I still absolutely love it.

I also have a bunch of these 11 X 10 hexagon tiles. (I have much more than 4, but these are my favorites and I'm rearranging my other boards.) I know these are pretty popular for people who collect pins. Most people tend to have them up against each other but I left space between mine so I could put LED strips in between them at some point! Do you have a board? I'd love to see pics if you do!

I only have a small fraction of what you have. 😭 I somewhat recently decided that I was actually collecting pins! I had always just stuck my pins in a lanyard and hung that off of a push pin. After four lanyards, I decided it was time to admit I have a prob... Collection, and get a pin board. Only basic square cork board! Hopefully one day if I get many pins like you, I can mix it up. I split the four quarters up by anime, videos game, wrestling, and everything else!

If you're interested in fun shaped pin boards, you should check out @shoppixieexpress on Instagram. They sell a bunch of different shapes and sizes on their website.

I'm so excited to see your collection grow more though! It's so fun to pick up a few pins you like and all of a sudden you have... a bunch lol. But that's honestly how I got so many! I would buy a pin or two from random stores I walked into and would shop online from my favorite artists. It really adds up quickly. Trading is also helpful for getting pins (I have tips on how to do that successfully if that's something you're interested in).

Since you mentioned putting your pins on lanyards, I'm not sure if you know about these already but locking pin backs are so helpful! There are two main kinds but I personally like these. They're great for securing your pins on lanyards or backpacks, so your pins don't come off if you bump into something.

As far as keeping my pin boards organized, I only showed you the neatest ones, the others are such a mess! But when I go through and rearrange my boards, I store the pins I'm not currently displaying in a pin binder. You can get some binders that are specific for enamel pins but before I moved, I couldn't hang things on my wall so I had a ton of pins and was only using my coffin board to display them! All of the binders I could find online were too small for what I needed, so I got a thick binder and these display pages to make a bigger one. I really liked doing it this way because I usually organize my pages by fandom (Star Wars, Miraculous, etc.) and I can swap the pages around if I want to change the order

Thank you for the offer! I generally look for Yokai or Japanese folklore pins on crowdfunding sites. Doesn't pop up often, but more than I would have expected! And when I have extra money (which is never nowadays) I'll back a Kickstarter that has a whale pin. Though those are a lot easier to find! 🎉

Yeah, it can be overwhelming! I got so excited you were asking me questions so I know I sent you a lot, but you can go at your own pace with it so you don't have to immediately get everything right away. :)

Omg that sounds so cool! :o there are definitely really pretty whale pins I've seen on Etsy but I'll hit you up if any Japanese folklore ones pop up. Etsy is probably a great place to look for those too because it's easier to find artists you wouldn't know about otherwise

Thank you for sharing the corkboard store! There's so many fun options! Some perfect ones for the Kickstarter Yokai pins I'm getting in the future! So exciting! And so true! It really does add up and snowball!

And the idea of trading is cool! However if I'm buying a pin, I wouldn't part it. 😅 Maybe one day in the future!

And thank you so much for those locking pins! I once lost a pin that isn't for sale anymore. It's completely gone! It double sucks because it's part of a set! And ever since then I haven't worn pins. 😭 But I'll have to get some of these!

🤔🤔🤔🤔 Woah. I never would have thought of putting pins into a binder. I'll do that if I ever run out of display space! Though I would worry the back one pages pins would scratch the front of the next page. But storing the pages inverted would easily fix that paranoia.

I totally feel you about trading though lol. I have pins that I'd be willing to trade because sometimes people are willing to sell for cheaper if you throw in a pin as well. But I make sure to keep pins that were gifts :)

There are different kinds of binders so definitely feel free to explore and see what works for you :) storing them inverted is a good idea! The pages I linked in the last answer are thick around the perimeter so the pins on the first page don't touch the pins on the page under it. If you're still worried though, I bought a bunch of extra rubber pin backs so if the backs do touch the pins, they won't get scratched or anything.
