A Game of Thrones inspired RainWing! Very elusive, and one of the smallest dragon species known, the largest of which only growing about the size of an elephant. They are found deep inside massive jungles, hidden in the trees with their color shifting scales, and will see you long before you see them. RainWings are the most timid dragons, typically shying away from any humans they come across, and they’re not aggressive unless provoked. Remember, they’re more scared of you than you are of them! A scared RainWing will spit an acid-like venom from their fangs, deadly enough to kill a man in minutes, or leave you horrifically scarred. Due to their smaller size and lack of fire breathing capabilities, they are not much use in war. They can be ridden if you’re determined, but they do not bond to their riders. The few raised in captivity are mainly used as symbols of status and wealth, only owned by the most powerful lords and kings.

Art blocks been a bitch. Boyfriend suggested creating a scorpion dragon, so I made a rough sketch of what the head could look like. Might make a full body version soon but I have work tomorrow so this is all for tonight

Honestly I love all the sisters. Burns the stereotypical big buff sort of dragon I’ve always been into, Blisters a gothic chick and Blaze is just loveable all around. Can’t seem to go wrong with any of them!

What is this AMAZING comic prologue? Did you just start it or do you have like a whole book somewhere

This is based off the Wings of Fire books! We’re recreating the graphic novel to be more accurate to the book cover style, although the original prologue was never included in the first one so we’re creating the whole thing from scratch. We’ll also be adding in some missing scenes and dialogue just to make it feel more complete, I highly recommend the series!

(Disclaimer: I love the original graphic novels as they already are, this is just a project we’re doing for fun to go along with the YouTube dub series we’ll be putting out for it)

I never give my OCs attention but I felt the need to draw this couple! Queen Locust and her husband King Coyote, long reigning rulers of the ancient Sand Kingdom. While most dragons in their time lived a solitary lifestyle, Locust and Coyote were mated for life and spent many years together before Coyote was caught in the crossfire of an assassination attempt on Fossils life and died shortly after.
