HTTYD modern AU but they are all like 10.

And the ofc the older kids.

The kids are all 9-10

Eret’s like 16-17

Heather is 13-14

Dagur is 17-18

Hiccup and Snotlout are cousins, Dagur and Heather have been friends with Eret since childhood. Dagur has soma major beef with the kids but especially Hiccup didn’t decide why yet.

The twins have very chill but also kinda neglectful parents. Spitelout is either divorced or his wife is dead. Astrid’s parents are super strict and have very high expectations. Fishlegs either doesn’t have a dad or has a bad relationship with him. Valka disappeared in some accident and is presumed dead.

Hiccup and Snotlout have a lot of sleepovers. The scar on Dagur’s face is Toothless’s handy work. The kids have been friends since they were 5. The kids race on their bikes with their pets and call it “Dragon Racing”. They have this treehouse/meeting place called “Dragon’s Edge”. Gustav is some annoying 6 year old trying to tag along.

The twins either have snakes or geckos. Snotlout has some species of a lizard. Astrid has a parrot. Fishlegs has a pug and Hiccup has a black cat with huge green eyes.

I might add the rest of the characters probably as adults.

I follow one girl on Instagram who collects various fantasy outfits of elves, fairies, pirates and vikings, so..

One of her outfits looked like a PERFECT design for Dagur & Heather's mother and I finally drew her!👀

Look at the WOMAN:0🤲

I thought the name Daniella would suit her~

(Considering that this ☝ is how Oswald looks in the official concept art, she quite complements the missing features of their children in my opinion)

P.S. The only question I have for them is how they managed to make their wedding kiss possible.. Like, did Daniella kneeled or Oswald brought a chair for himself, lol??XD

Regarding her character.. let's just say Daniella was that very mom who persuaded Dagur to finish his breakfast in the morning with the words: "I'll show you how to cut open the belly of the dragon we killed yesterday!🥰" (Always worked btw:D)

But generally I see her as a really chill and funny mom, sad that she and Dagur were able to share a really little time together:,,,>

Hey! Sorry for being MIA; after artfight artblock hit me hard as well as the craziness of registering for college classes, (no thanks to growing up in private school lol) should be back soon with more HTTYD redesigns/ headcanons, suggestions for who to draw next are always appreciated!
