hello my name is redacted, i am constantly stuck in the throes of homelessness and trying to improve my life.
i need about £130 a month to survive, and i cannot get on benefits or a job right now due to legal status, so i am forced to crowdfund. it's also my birthday soon and I would like to have some relief. for one day. if you have spare cash you'd like to give me, you can donate here. thank you.
[£75/130]

the grief is so deep and never ending and it's starting it's starting now. I'm the one with the suitcase always in their hand, I'm the one that always leaves first. and I will miss it I will miss all of it I'm so full of memories I can't even see past them right now. I can't think of what will happen because I'm seeing the perfect montage of what has happened. six years four years two years of my life ending this summer leaving it all behind leaving them all right at the middle right at the start. and it killed me it killed me how easily the key slid in the lock tonight it killed me how my friends' glasses are still on my kitchen, unwashed, it killed me how I'll have to soon saying goodbye to my room to my home here. everything ends everything starts again just to end again. this was it

observation: among a certain subset of tumblr users, the term “blorbo” has become unchic, but the concept it describes is still important; and so it has been replaced with “The Character”

If consumption promises satisfaction in substitution and then denies it because all objects are rest stops amid the process of remaining unsatisfied that counts for being alive under capitalism, in the impasse of desire, then hoarding seems like a solution to something. Hoarding controls the promise of value against expenditure, as it performs the enjoyment of an infinite present of holding pure potential.
Cruel Optimism - Lauren Berlant
