( kim chungha, cisfemale, she/her, 23. ) — SOJIN GODFREY, better known to the authorities as IVY, has been working for the kumiho for around TWO YEARS as a MAGICIAN. rumor has it, they can be CHARMING & INGENIOUS but also SECRETIVE & RECKLESS which is why well worn sneakers, loud music playing from someone else’s headphones, scuffed knees, & stick and poke tattoos makes me think of them. sojin was born in seoul but whisked off to london, england days after just entering the world. her mother was a 17-year-old who put her up for adoption as soon as she was well and able enough. sojin says that it was her destiny to be “abandoned” because she wouldn’t have gotten the chance at life that she did with her adoptive parents

her life was a fairly normal one. she grew up with two loving parents and two younger (also adopted) siblings. sojin had everything she wanted and nothing to complain about yet she always felt she was missing something. from a young age sojin always had the urge to be free

sojin was their child in almost every sense of the word but she always felt she owed them something. like she wasn’t completely there. when she was 18, fresh out of high school sojin told her parents that she was moving to seoul to study. and to potentially find her birth parents. she loved and appreciated her parents for everything they did for her so leaving was hard for her especially since they were the only thing she knew. they always encouraged her to follow her gut so follow she did.

sojin always had a knack for getting away with things she shouldn’t have been doing. even if she’d been caught red-handed she had a way to get out of it and get away with what she came for. she had started out pick-pocketing people when she first moved to seoul. once she realized how easy it was to swindle people she’d moved up to full-on thievery in plain sight. a smile here, a flutter of eyelashes there, a kiss to seal the deal and it was all hers.

for a while, sojin did focus on her studies but they quickly took a back burner when she realized she could literally make a living off of other people. she’d never really had to take initiative for herself because her parents always took care of her. but now that she finally felt that sense of freedom she’d been yearning for, there was no telling how far she’d go.

sojin is probably the biggest goofball ever. it’s rare to see her without or smile, or trying to make somebody laugh. she’s not afraid to make herself look like a clown if it means the people she loves are smiling

she’s obsessed with fashion and knows all the latest styles and clothing. will not hesitate to drag you shopping with her and make you try on everything in the store

she’s currently working on getting her degree in psychology. she stopped going for a year after becoming obsessed with money and joining the kumiho and decided to go back after she made enough money to completely pay for it herself

ignores her problems until she can't anymore,,, literally avoids them at all costs

avoids confrontation too. good luck trying to fight her because she’ll just look at you and laugh
