Story Time: Having Toxic Best Friend

I recently ended my 8 years of friendship with my best friend, Abigail Heck. I will start from the beginning; I met Abby when we are in middle school 7th grade, we met during PE when she stood up against my bully. We hanged out a lot talking about what kind of books and shows we like, we are pretty similar tastes in certain stuff we enjoyed. Throughout middle school to high school our friendship is strong, I was oblivious that what Abby did is something that wasn't that BAD as it was until I started to notice during college. Abby did physically hurt my guy friends by kicking them in the balls on purpose, her getting really jealous whenever I hang out with my girl friends, always taking control during the events especially someone’s birthday, and be very judgy in more toxic in a way. I kept giving her all the chances I gave her for her to change herself for the better. I care about her getting along with other people without them hating her, but she ruined so many chances that I was generous enough to give her. What caused me to draw a line is from the drama that happened when Abby does is very insensitive on TikTok. She goes by @Kjoon.txt because Abby was OBSESSED with Kpop bands especially BTS. I had enough with her being insensitive and overall very toxic. I told her that her last chance is for her to change for 3 months, after that I will determined if we will still be friends. But of course after a month after that, she said to me that it will take a lot longer for her to change since she's very stubborn. I retorted back that I’m the same way, I respected her honest words but it doesn’t changed my mind about giving her 3 months. Not gonna lie, I was frustrated because the way she said it is a red flag to me it just means that she haven't even try to change during the first month. So the next day, I left her a text message that our friendship is over and I wish her the best of luck for her career.  She did said the same thing to me but tries to convince me to not ended our friendship and I wasn't fully convinced. After few weeks, I heard that her family doesn’t allow me back to their house because Abby showed them our text conversations but they shouldn't get involved in the first place, I never do that on my end. Of course I was pissed for what she did, its very childish for her to drag her family involved and make them think that my mental health is ‘fake’. I knew Abby was a two-faced bitch with that move because she did exactly the same thing to my now best friend Regan. I blocked all of my contact with her especially social medias; I was considered talking to her about that on Facebook and then block her on that as well. But then again that's is just reconsidering to think. So yeah that's my story about the time I had a toxic best friend.

The Curse

Heartbreaks and rejections only exists within.

Don't really know or remember what's it like to be in love.

This depression keeps coming slowly, trying to take over.  

Don't really hear wedding bells ringing from the future.

Maybe loneliness is only company, it never leaves and only lingers.

Dying alone is the fate that been sealed since birth.

Standing by and see friends falls in love in which they deserve.

Too afraid to open a heart for other strangers.

Too afraid to try go back to dating games.

A heart had been abused too many times which creates one big scar.

A scar might not heal, too painful to remove from a fragile heart.

Over time a heart will start to numb and soon forgets about the meaning of love.

Depression started to casted over it, like storm clouds.

It creates a curse around the heart.

Curse starts to spread from the heart to the outside of the body.

This curse promised the both body and heart that it will never find true love again.

And so, it works, the curse of never finding true love.

It sucks to be single on Valentine’s Day. I tried to date some guys on campus but in the end, I get rejected either for them to get back with their ex or find someone else...

At this rate, I may never find love, however maybe waiting for love to come to me...

I hoped that one day there will be a guy for me......
