Think about it: the ultimate origin of liberal idpol is in the quantum revolution. Quantum physicists "deduced" that the world is not deterministic i.e. materialist but rather subjective and probabilistic i.e. idealist, i.e. the superstructure determines the base. This lead directly to Foucauldian post-modernist CIA backed cultural nihilism, which is the basis of identity politics and the corruption of international class consciousness.

Wolfram posits a fully deterministic i.e. materialist underlying set of laws just like Marx did. If you were more than just a simple liberal, and worse yet one unduly sympathetic to the machinations of finance, you would understand that this is the only path forward.

There's also a religious (not spiritual) doctrine being propagated by the so-called quantumist "scientists". The quantum ideology is fundamentally a religion, not a science, because the existence of parallel universes makes it fully infalsifiable. But it's also fundamentally anti-spiritual because of the so-called discovery of the "god" particle which claims to usurp any need for the divine.

But the existence of a spiritual component to consciousness has been proved deductively by Descartes and later Hilary Putnam, there is no need to even test it. By the way, this what those people who misinterpretate Marx on religion really need to hear. The realization of spiritual consciousness in a deterministic (i.e. materialist i.e. a-religious universe) is what is needed to free the minds of capitalist wage slaves and the bourgeousie alike.
