hey did you know??? that if you stop stretching and maintaining mobility in your body then it goes away?? things get tight and you can't move the way that you used to??? and when you decide to try getting a stretch routine going that the first week fucking sucks because you keep going 'damn i used to be able to do this no problem' and then you have to switch gears and be kind to yourself and just focus on getting better from here instead of berating yourself for dropping the good habits in the first place??? and your body never stops aging so you gotta keep taking care of it and sometimes you gotta take care of it extra in certain areas because of things that happened when you were younger and it's boring and sometimes hurts but it's so necessary???
i am yelling this at myself right now i am going through An Experience (trying to get into a routine of body maintenance again for my physical and mental health)

Have you played Ech0 ?
By Kai Poh
Peace. Kids playing in mech wreckage. A ghost.
One last journey across an ancient battleground to find a pilot's final resting place.
A GM-less storytelling and map-drawing game for 3 or more players. About how we remember war, how we forget, and all that remains when the echoes fade. 1-3 hours to play (usually 2+ hours if more than 4 players). 4 pages (excluding cover and hex map). 3 random tables for creating an advanced or low-tech landscape littered with destroyed mechs from the last great war.

above all else a trans woman is a person. above all else a trans women is a woman who goes to the same grocery store as you and buys fruits in the same grocery cart as you and goes home and eats her dinner the same as you. above all else a trans woman is a woman who dresses like you do and talks the same way you do. above all else a trans woman is a woman who wants to be cared about the same way you want to be cared about and a trans woman is a woman who makes friends the same way you make friends. above all else you should care about trans women because they are people. treat her as such.

There are some characters where giving them therapy and cleaning them up is the fanfiction equivalent of buying antique furniture and painting it white

happy portfolio day once more!
Hi folks! I'm Shel Kahn, a canadian art director/vis dev/illustrator who's worked in games and comics and fiction for over a decade.
I've worked on Disney properties, Glorantha, Call of Cthulhu, and a little of everything in between, and I'd love to hear if you've got something coming up that could use my special blend of weird, magical and fun!
You can hit up my full portfolio at https://www.portablecity.net/shel-kahns-portfolio/ - but here's a sampler to whet your palate:

okay so that IS a lot of art, but I'm very very proud of all that and I'd love to work with you to make more art in future!
Ping me at shel (at) portablecity.net if you're looking for colourful, magical, surprising art for your next project!
