Book of Thel Designs from “A Small Book of Designs” (plates 1, 4, 6, 7)

William Blake

Blake was commissioned to make a small book of illustrations from his books. Of course Blake is meant to be read with the words and the images equally, these are still really brilliant impressions of the etchings. I’ll post a few sets from the other book contained in “A Small Book of Designs” later.
