It seems to be one of their in house model runs . This particular unit was re-wheeled by the original owner to work on Code 83/70 track and runs well. It can handle the normal Ez-curve radius of 16 inches (I think that is my loops’ curve diameter) quite well.the motor has a bit of a... noise I can’t quite Identify but can pull my assortment of cars as well as a brass HOn3 C-19 and its tender quite well.
Some people will recommend eBay, but honestly the prices for sometimes faulty stuff that people will ask for just isn’t worth it. My advice is to find a Facebook Buy, Trade and Sell group that models in your scale and look for deals there. Yes most of the stuff on there might be DC powered as opposed to DCC but with the deals you can get it would be cheaper over all to buy older equipment and retro-fit it with DCC and Sound or just DCC.
Welcome to my blog where i meme and rant about the hobby that is model railroading. I hope to provide thought provoking content and maybe explain to people that taking the hobby to seriously is really crap of them and turns people off of the hobby.
