             that sounds incredibly boring, but adam doesn’t say so. step number one to finding the perfect victim is to make them trust you, and saying outright that her plans are boring ( if not plainly unamerican ), won’t achieve that for adam. he takes a deep breath, tensing his shoulders and then relaxing them as he thinks of how to go about his question. “ well, i’m sure you’ve heard that i throw a purge party every year. i was wondering if, if you didn’t have plans of course, you wanted to come .  ”

      shuren of course agreed to meet with hyunjin when he asked. she didn’t want to sit in her dorm overthinking how the events had gone down on campus so a distraction was best. she made her way to the agreed meeting location, the campus cafe. it was a good place to chat and keep both their minds off, especially with someone that she was so friendly with also.

        “hey,” she said as she walked over to him, pulling him into a hug when she was finally close enough. maybe that was crossing a line but she just needed that hug and she was sure maybe he did too. “how are you doing?” she asked, sitting down at the table he had picked. “i was more than happy to meet you.”

             “ i could ask you the same .  ”  it hasn’t been easy. losing a student so suddenly is never something that’s easy for a campus to cope with, and while they weren’t close, hyunjin still knew the person. they were fraternity brothers, after all. “ do you wanna get something to drink first ?? my treat, if you want .  ”
