1 Peter 5:8 ESV
Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
What an ominous opening to this chapter of 1 Peter! We are warned that we have an adversary, the devil himself, who is prowling around like a roaring lion seeking someone to devour. But what does it mean to be watchful? To be sober-minded? I think it means to always be on guard, to be aware of the spiritual battle that is raging around us. It means to stay close to God, to His Word, and to His people. We cannot fight this battle on our own, but we can take comfort in knowing that we have a faithful ally in the Lord. So let us be watchful and sober-minded, and let us trust in the Lord to give us the victory.

Psalm 147:3 ESV
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
https://10bibleverses.com/scripture-quotes/bible-verses-about-heartbreak/
Psalm 147:3 is a beautiful verse that speaks to the heart of anyone who has ever experienced heartbreak. The Lord is our healer, and He binds up our wounds. This doesn't mean that He takes away the pain or makes everything better overnight. Instead, He gives us the strength to keep going and the hope that we need to face each day. We may never understand why we experience heartbreak, but we can trust that God is with us in the midst of it and that He will ultimately use it for our good. Thank you, Lord, for healing the brokenhearted and binding up our wounds. Amen.

Bible verse about joy: "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." - Romans 15:13. As I reflect on this Bible verse, I am reminded that joy is not a feeling that comes and goes based on our circumstances. Rather, it is a Gift from God that we can receive by faith. When we trust in Him, we can receive His Joy and Peace, which will overflow from us to others. As we allow the Holy Spirit to work in us, we will be filled with Hope and Joy that will be a testimony to His goodness and grace. Bible Verse about Bread
Matthew 4:4 ESV But he answered, “It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”
Scripture Quotes about Bread
Matthew 4:4  But he answered, “It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” This bible verse is a powerful reminder that we need more than just physical sustenance to live a full and meaningful life. We need spiritual food as well. Just as our bodies need nourishment, our souls need to be fed as well. And the best way to do that is by reading and meditating on God's word. When we do that, we are filling our minds with the things that are important to God and we are aligning our thoughts and actions with His will. As we reflect on this bible verse, let us commit to making time for God's word each day so that we can grow spiritually and be the people He created us to be.

What does it mean to rejoice in our sufferings? The bible tells us in Romans 5:3-4 that "suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope." When we go through difficult times in our lives, it can be hard to see the purpose behind our pain. However, the bible tells us that if we endure suffering, it will produce endurance. And if we have endurance, it will produce character. And if we have character, it will produce hope. Hope is what gives us the strength to keep going even when things are tough. So when you are facing a difficult situation, remember that God is using it to produce hope in you. Hope is the light that shines in the darkness, and it will ultimately lead you to a better place.

One of the hardest things we have to deal with in life is losing a loved one. It can be difficult to understand why death happens, and we may feel like we can't go on. But there is hope, even in the midst of our pain. The Bible tells us that one day God will wipe away all tears from our eyes, and there will be no more death, sorrow, or crying. That means that our loved ones who have passed away are not gone forever. We will see them again one day, and we will be able to hug them and tell them how much we love them. In the meantime, we can take comfort in knowing that they are in a far better place, free from pain and suffering. So don't give up hope, even when it feels like your world is falling apart. Remember that God is with you always, and He will never leave you or forsake you.
Bible Verse for Comfort when Losing a Loved One
Revelation 21:4 KJV  And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Heavenly Father, we come to you today with heavy hearts. We are grieving the loss of a beloved family member or friend. We know that they are now in your presence, and we rejoice that they are at peace. However, the pain of losing them is still very real. We ask that you would give us comfort and strength during this difficult time. Help us to remember the happy times we shared with our loved one, and give us peace as we adjust to life without them. Amen.

King James Version: Bible Verses for the 4th of July
As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God. – 1 Peter 2:16 KJV
Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. – 2 Corinthians 3:17 KJVThis Fourth of July, Americans will celebrate their independence with picnics, parades, and fireworks. It is a time to reflect on the founding of our nation and give thanks for the freedoms we enjoy. But what does it mean to be truly free? The Bible tells us that true freedom comes from being enslaved to Christ (Galatians 5:1). When we are submitted to His authority, He sets us free from the bondage of sin. This doesn't mean that we will never face difficulties or persecution, but it does mean that we can have hope in the midst of trials. As Christians, we are not bound by the limitations of this world, but by the infinite love of God. So this Fourth of July, let us remember that true freedom is found in Christ alone.

Proverbs 17:22 ESV
A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
This proverb speaks to the importance of having a joyful heart. A joyful heart is good medicine. It helps to keep our spirits strong and our bones healthy. But a crush spirit can dry up the bones. It can sap our strength and leave us feeling weary and drained. That's why it's so important to find things that bring us joy. What are the things that make you smile? What are the things that make your heart sing? pursuing those things, and filling your life with them, will help you to maintain a joyful heart - and that is good medicine indeed.
Daily Bible Verse
The Bible is a living and active book, and every day we can find new meaning in its verses. A Bible verse of the day can help us to connect with God's word and deepen our spiritual understanding. By reflecting on the verse each day, we can apply its message to our lives and grow in our faith. Additionally, a daily Bible verse can provide comfort and hope in times of trouble. When we are struggling, God's word can be a source of strength and encouragement. Therefore, having a Bible verse of the day is an important part of maintaining a healthy spiritual life.
Proverbs 17-22 gives us a deep insight into the relationship between emotions and physical health. According to the Bible, a happy heart is good medicine. A crushed spirit is a drain on the body. This verse explains that our emotional well-being can directly impact our physical health. Our bodies are more healthy and stronger when we feel happy and content. However, if we are anxious or stressed, our physical health can suffer. This verse reminds us to keep a positive outlook and find joy in the midst all of life's challenges. Only when we have joy in our hearts can we truly enjoy good health.

1 Timothy 4:12 ESV
Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.

Bible Quote on Leadership
When I was a young man, I was eager to make my mark on the world. I was driven to achieve success and learn as much as I could. Looking back, I can see that God was using my youthful energy to accomplish His purposes. He placed me in positions of responsibility and gave me opportunities to influence others for good. In 1 Timothy 4:12, Paul urges Timothy not to let anyone despise him for his youth, but to set an example for other believers in his speech, conduct, love, faith and purity. As a young man, Timothy had a unique opportunity to impact the lives of those around him. And so do you. Don't waste your youth - use it to make a difference for Christ.

New Scripture for Today Bible Reading & Devotional Daily
Podcasts are a great way for you to keep up with the latest news wherever and whenever you're there. The Daily Bible Verse audio podcast allows Christians to hear the Good News from anywhere they are: driving, exercising, or studying the Bible. This podcast provides a spiritual boost for Christians who struggle to keep up with their daily devotionals, or spend time with God alone.
LifeWay Research discovered that Americans are positive about the Bible. Many Christians believe that the Christian scriptures have moral lessons that can be applied in our daily lives. Over half of Americans have never even read the Bible. Only 25% of those who have read the Bible have a plan for each day. One third of Americans have never read the Bible by themselves.
Now Bible readers can listen to short devotional thoughts and inspirational scripture readings as an audio file. The Bible Verse of the Day podcast is available on all major podcast platforms including iTunes, Spotify and Audible.
Tumblr media
Daily Bible Verse Audio Podcast
This daily, 60-second scripture reading will solve that problem. These scripture readings can be used as devotionals. Each episode is narrated by pastors or church leaders. For scripture reading, there will be many translations of the Bible. Common translations for scripture reading will be the English Standard Version (ESV), King James Version (KJV), and New International Version.
The Bible speaks volumes on the importance of listening to God's Word. Paul, the Apostle, stated in Romans 10.17, that faith is built on hearing and hearing Christ's Word. Jesus Christ said in John 8.47, "Whoever hears God's words speaks." These scriptures will strengthen faith and inspire spirituality.
Both the Old Testament and New Testament have their roots in oral storytelling traditions. The printing of books is a recent innovation. Most Christians wouldn't have been able access to the holy scriptures if they weren't in church. The verse of today podcast aims to bring back the ancient power and beauty found in the spoken word, but it is also accessible for modern believers.
Tony Kummer, the founder and CEO at 10 Bible Verses, stated that it was an exciting way for people to connect God's Word each day. Everyone is busy. Daily scripture reading has never been easier. Our team is great at finding inspiring scripture quotes and making them available in many formats.

2 Timothy 1:7 ESV For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
https://10bibleverses.com/scripture-quotes/bible-verses-about-courage/
The Bible has a lot to say about courage. In fact, the word "courage" appears nearly 400 times in Scripture. This is because God knows that we will face many challenges and difficulties in this life, and He wants us to be prepared. The verses in the link below offer wisdom and guidance on how to face our fears with bravery and faith. they remind us that God is always with us, and that He will give us the strength we need to overcome any obstacle. As we read these verses, we are reminded that we are not alone in our struggles and that we can have courage in the face of anything life throws our way.
Daily Bible Verse Podcast
The Bible is full of verses about courage, and each one offers a unique perspective on this important virtue. As Christians, we are called to courageously stand up for our faith, even in the face of opposition. We are also called to be courageous in our relationships, showing love and compassion even when it is difficult. And finally, we are called to be courageous in our daily lives, living out our convictions even when it is easier to compromises. No matter what challenges we face, we can find strength and courage in God's word. So let us not be afraid to boldly proclaim the gospel, reach out to those who are hurting, and live lives that reflect our faith. Instead, let us have the courage to be the light of Christ in a dark world.

James 1:5 ESV If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.
https://10bibleverses.com/scripture-quotes/bible-verses-about-wisdom/
The book of James is full of great advice for Christians. In chapter 1, verse 5, we are told that if we lack wisdom, we should ask God for it. This is such good advice! Often times, we try to handle things on our own and end up making a mess of things. But when we humble ourselves and turn to God for wisdom, He will generously give it to us. We just need to be willing to ask and then listen for His guidance. I encourage you to take this advice from James and the next time you find yourself lacking wisdom, remember to ask God for it. You will be amazed at how He will provide what you need.
Bible Verses on Wisdom
The Bible is full of verses about wisdom. Here are just a few of the many verses that speak to this important topic:
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” -Proverbs 1:7
“For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.” -Proverbs 2:6-9
“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.” -James 1:5
These verses make it clear that wisdom is something to be sought after and valued. It is not something that we should take for granted or assume that we already have. We need to actively seek out wisdom, both from God and from others who are wiser than us. Only then can we hope to gain the knowledge and understanding that we need to make wise decisions in our lives.
