Princess Rhaenyra was a different matter. Daemon spent long hours in her company, enthralling her with tales of his journeys and battles. He gave her pearls and silks and books and a jade tiara once said to have belonged to the Empress of Leng, read poems to her, dined with her, hawked with her, sailed with her, entertained her by making mock of the greens at court, the “lick-spittles” fawning over Queen Alicent and her children. He praised her beauty, declaring her to be the fairest maid in all the Seven Kingdoms.

Crimson Peak is also a great one but I hear a lot of people hate it 😅

But besides the accusations of stealing ideas from other Klonnie fics & some criticisms of the storyline, I think it’s pretty good. I also think there’s some weird undertones & language, that should be addressed but I chop that up to the writer being a bit immature. But all in all, it’s a pretty compelling story & plot.

It’s well written, with a few grammatical errors. The Prologue ‘Prom Night’ is also great.

Are there any Klonnie fanfics that are essentially a what if Bonnie was the one who Klaus got pregnant and had a child with that mixes the Originals into it?

What I really like in HOTD even after just one episode is the sharp difference in life in Westeros between that era and GoT. Like… the tourney is so much more grand than Robert’s tourney, the clothes are more extravagant and in brighter colors, King’s Landing is clearly in better shape. Sure people are scheming but there seems to be more enjoyment/leisure time in the Kingdom. The Weirwoods are still in the south. Like for the first time you really understand what it meant that the Targaryen empire ended/the effect it had on the kingdoms
