Mine, Mind. LV 200 Visionaries Full Film with Femi Koleoso from Fenn O'Meally on Vimeo.
A 200th anniversary art piece commissioned by LV.
I wanted to question the practice of creating and how the human mind attaches ideas, rules, regulations and outside influences to creativity as it develops from its infancy.
This piece is about reminding you to connect with that inner child, explore, be curious, mess up and of course remember to PLAY.

Dirt in the Diamond, a short film, set in 1970’s London, explores the duality of grief and celebration within the mourning period of Jamaican culture. The film pays homage through its style and use of archival footage, to the generations before us, who have been intentional about preserving our customs, traditions and communities after immigrating to the UK and enduring the difficulties that came with it.

Bill Buckle - Automotive Designer and Dealer from Powerhouse on Vimeo.
“This is the story of the Dart Goggomobil”
Between 1957 and 1961, Bill Buckle produced the Goggomobil Dart bodies in Sydney. Australian Goggomobil cars were fitted with lightweight fibreglass bodies in place of their German counterparts’ steel bodies.
Object Lesson is a Powerhouse digital content series that upends and inverts the legacy of a set of lesson cards held in the collection since 1880. Named for English educator. Elizabeth Mayo’s 1831 publication Lessons on Objects, the series is underpinned by a desire to learn more about the objects in our collection from people and communities who have special relationships with them.
‘Knowledge stems not only from teacher or institution or object alone — but at the intersection of all.’ - Agatha Gothe-Snape, Powerhouse artistic associate

Fashion designer Dapper Dan is synonymous with Harlem, a borough which has been especially hard-hit by the COVID-19 crisis.
Since the pandemic arrived stateside, people of color have been disproportionately impacted. According to the Department of Health Pacific Islander, Latino, Indigenous, and Black Americans all have a COVID-19 death rate of double or more than White and Asian Americans.
Misinformation and fear have prevented many from taking the vaccine, but the concerns are rooted in a complex history. Medical racism is a legitimate concern, and in the past black bodies have been exploited in ways that have permanently undermined trust.
Please visit cdc.gov for more information on the COVID-19 vaccines.
