Spinning on his heels, and  disappointed with himself, the brunette began to make his way back down the street and towards his home. School wasn’t  EVER going to be the same--                           Like hell it was. He had great friends once, but they must have all since then  d r i f t e d on. Wishing them well, Yamaguchi sighed and felt his heart  ACHE.

He had left behind  many things during his time in America, sadly he also wasn’t able to contact anyone. 

                            Timezones were a killer. 

With the pain in his chest, the teen clenched his fist  tight around his phone as his head hung low. He didn’t want to see them,  any of them  [well he did, but...] but he couldn’t face them.

                                               Not after what he did.

Whilst in America, Tadashi  continued to study volleyball. He  SPECIALIZED in it, and even managed to get on the team in his English speaking school, but it wasn’t  HIS team. It wasn’t  Karasuno.

He had been away-------------          So long. His dads job had taken him  out of the country for about 2 months.

                                                     2 w h o l e months

His heard  thumped HEAVILY in his chest as he stared at the school that he attended before the move,  a  l a r g e lump lodged in his throat as tears welled up. Eyes slowly glanced toward the phone in his hand as he looked through names that he loved  and missed.

He barely had time to tell  anyone before leaving for America, and he was scared  [TERRIFIED] to return.

                                  “ ...Maybe I shouldn’t have..... “

One year —— One year ago I made a stupid blog, wrote for five hours straight while listening to Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars, participated in my first hockey match and discovered what people can only refer to as love at first sight; yellow and blue men chasing a round piece of plastic on a ice covered field. I , quinn, came to discover hockey and along with that Andrew Jansson was born. A full time project, an impulsive idea inspired by Storhamar’s Captain’s beard.                 I don’t know what else to say than man what a journey !! I have moved fandoms, blogs and aliases, I have moved from people to people, crowds to individuals and back; a basic life of a blogger , writer and creator I can only assume. I have had my ups and downs like everyone else, but I still take time to look back on my experiences with a warm smile because everything lead me up to this point, the point where I finally find myself doing something I really and truly love ; h o c k e y.                I could ramble up and down about hockey, storhamar and the experiences the club has brought into my life but what is most relevant for this blog as that storhamar is the sole reason why Andrew Jansson came to exist and without hockey I would not have been where I am today, here, one year later —— s t i l l writing this massive idiot. I have gained 900++ followers on his blog and that is the second most followers I have ever had, the most followers an original character of mine has ever REACHED !! 

I want to thank EVERYONE who decided to drop by ; that includes everyone even if they unfollowed, deleted, moved on or simply slipped away from this blog. Every like, reblog, message and small sign of attention is what has brought us here and what has brought you to me.                 I have met some of my closest friends on Andrew and for that I am very thankful, I am though also very thankful for the close friends who stayed with me even in the process of making , writing and creating Andrew ( mich , jana and liz i am looking at you three because you have put up with our bullshit for so long ) because let’s face it, it’s a fucking miracle that Sweden haven’t sent out their army to haul my ass to jail —- Sorry Emmi and Kaffi, I have stained your country ( lmao payback for the union nerdz ).

He didn’t want to be reminded that his boyfriend was going to be graduating soon-- going to college soon. It was going to make it even harder for them to see one another.

            POUTING AND BITING his bottom lip, Yamaguchi clenched tightly on his phone before launching himself back onto his bed before screaming into the plush of the pillow.

            THAT WAS IT, those were the words that tipped the young boy over the edge. He darted out of bed and stood stark naked before his calendar; eyes quickly scanning over the numbers and notes before him, hand tightly clenched around his phone as he looked for the next week that he had free.

            IT WASN’T IMMEDIATE but he could easily wait to see his kitten, he still had skype so it was possible for them to video call until then. Inhaling, Tadashi snatched up his pen from the desk and circled the next free week. Inside the circle he scruffily wrote down                                         ‘TETSU-- IMPORTANT’.

           YAMAGUCHI SHOT UP out of bed as he heard the familiar sound of his phone vibrating; it wasn’t too early in the morning that he was still asleep but he had been stirring for a couple of minutes-- trying to get the most warmth out of the blankets as he could before getting ready for the day.

                         A SMILE THEN shot across his face,                     he was beaming as his eyes glanced upon                                the name that had messaged him and then,                                                   a frown,                          as the little notes were opened and read.

          HE HAD MISSED Tetsurou also, being unable to see him due to exams and volleyball practice was really starting to get to him-- perhaps he could invite the older boy over ?? If he couldn’t really leave Torono Town then maybe the other could visit him ??

                                                    INHALING, HE FELT his fingers instinctively                                            respond to the messages in his hands.

Well, I am all moved in now-- Still got some things to sort out of course, like unpacking all my clothes and that bull but hey, my bby is now up and running in my new man cave.

Hope you guys are all doing well, hope you have been keeping busy and putting yourself before your PC and tumblr.

             A SMILE GREW upon the lips of the young boy as he heard that his tutor managed to see the game (even if he wasn’t able to see the full set of points that he had racked up). Inhaling, Yamaguchi nodded his head; his hands felt a little sweaty and clammy due to nervousness but he had been getting used to Makoto’s company even more through training sessions.

                                                     “We’re so close now, we just need                                                                       ...to beat Shiratorizawa.”

               AS HE SPOKE those words, the first year found himself losing volume and excitement. Biting his lip he thought about how the team really could do that.

Ah, so that was it. Makoto huffed a laugh, though mostly just to himself, glancing around the store in a gesture that mirrored Tadashi’s, before leaning forward a little with a grin. “What do you think?” Ever since that practice match against the Neighbourhood Association – where he got to know the current Karasuno – there hadn’t been a single official match that Makoto didn’t attend.

“Not the whole thing,” he admitted a moment later, his expression turning a little more sheepish. “It was incredibly busy here, so I could barely get away – but I saw the last two points of the first set, and everything after that.”
