POV: trying to load your heavily modded Sims 2 game on your modern win10 machine

gameplay idea: Use simlogical's boarding school/flexi school (and/or meeting controller) to simulate a summer camp. Either: Residential Lot where an adult is a Camp Counselor. Move in the children temporarily via teleporter. The kids are sleeping in tents/bungalows. And they do activities such as fishing, swimming, hiking etc. Or: Community Lot which could be owned by a Camp Counselor. Could be a school or children could be called via meeting controller. Or: Move in the children with the counselor temporarily via teleporter. Send all of them to a vacation destination.

Parents pay for via money transfer mod or familyfunds cheat.

I'm working on my final project for my summer college course, and the topic of my final project has to do with personal experiences being a member of the Sims online community.

Small Edit of Mortia's Mushroom roof

I edited mortia's mushroom roofs. I removed the shiny effect on them and repositored the small roof, so it picks up the textures of the big roof. I also made a recolor to match sunni's cottage walls.

8 April 2025 Be it known on this date that I, Squeezle/Xia, got my first pink-flashing. I would like to thank my renewed interest in The Sims 2 and my lack of impulse control with downloading "all the things" and "adding all the things" at once into my game!

So I am relativly sure, that "MESH_mirk_am2901" with morphs does not exist (yet). But I found other interesting stuff:

But I found simborg has made a top only version.

Jellymeduza added/fixed a bunch of morphes to meshes I use.

there is a wayback link for mirkwood, that displays the website (*nostalgia intensifies*) but the download links do not work

The author of the mesh seems to be Lumien, though this has not helped my search at all. 😅

Anyhow: If anybody has a link to a fixed version, I would appreciate it.

Filling the gaps - part 50 - ambodyforgeshirtethantrs

I used a selection of sunni's velvet tunics to replace these H&M-outfits. They can be worn by young adults and elders as well.

The mesh has been made by Aligeth. It is available here. If you're playing a medieval game, you probably have this.

As I said before, the tunics can be worn by adult, elder and young adult sims. They are categorised as everyday, outerwear and formal wear. Townies may spawn in them and they use the "normal shoe" sound.

I sort my clothing by expansion and forgot to change it before taking pictures. This has been fixed in the upload. The tunics will appear with a H&M-symbol.

Default Replacement:

Delete any default for ambodyforgeshirtethantrs you might already have!
