Ok so I just replied to a simple “God created animals in order for us to eat them” with a full-on ethical-theological-psycholocigal thesis I just typed there on whatsapp and I feel good because I haven’t had the courage to do that in about 10 years after I lost all of my “friends” back then because of that.

Well… i’m not prepared for the answers I’m gonna get because I’m so sick of that senseless bullshit after 13.5 years of being a vegetarian and I just cant stand it anymore, but I’m not doing this for me, so I’m just gonna have to learn to deal with it.

I wrote this song because of something that happens to me quite a lot: people complaining that they never see any shooting stars. And I keep telling them: there’s so much more to see up there than just shooting stars! If you don’t appreciate the night sky as it is, and you never look at it for more than 2 minutes because you think it’s boring, of course you’re not gonna see any shooting stars!

And so I started thinking: the way those people look at the night sky is the same way many people look at life. We’re always looking for something special, something extraordinary, shining brighter than everything else, and we forget about all the constant blessings, all the beautiful things that are always there for us in our lives.
