a child came into the nature center and saw tadpoles for the first time and when i told him they're baby frogs he thought i was lying and i suddenly realized that if you're 3 and don't know that tadpoles become frogs it does sound pretty fake. this kid will not fall for made up shit online he is a born skeptic.

I love Enlighter. Most annoying man you've ever met in your life actually does stand for truth and justice. Refuses to stop being complete pill about it in very petty ways. Motivated primarily by spite and envy but unwilling to lie or cheat to get ahead. I was teaching kids today and they got fixated on the usual ‘are they dead now?’ question when I was talking about historical figures. So I was just like ‘Yes, they’re dead now, everyone who was alive in the 1800s is dead now.’ and then one kid was like ‘Except for you’.
