GURU CHANDAL YOGA (and why it's the best yoga I could ask for)

WHAT IS GURU CHANDAL YOGA: This Yoga is often seen as a controversial Yoga that involves Jupiter and Rahu in one house/conjunct. It is known to cloud one's judgement and be morally questionable and be susceptible to illusions, enough to be called a Dosha. But in my opinion, Guru Chandal Yoga is one of the most empowering Yogas to have. I'm not saying this out of the nuance that Jupiter has the capacity to control Rahu as I have learned. But I might not be accurate in this, so this is my disclaimer.

In today's society where so much materialism and superficiality have permeated, I have never felt this grateful to be able to courageously and confidently embrace my craziness.

I grew up as an outcast all my life, still finding a place where I could fit in and belong. I'm also in search of a place I call home. All this time I grew up only knowing of the sole reference of me as the problematic one or the villain from all my past interactions.

I'm not trying to turn a blind eye on my own faults, of course I'm not as clean as others who think of me as innocent would think. But it's crazy how they kept on telling you "the world does not revolve around you" or other statements meant to invalidate you and come across as logically, realistically, and morally superior, and yet they are the same ones who tend to live with regrets.

Sometimes, I feel excruciatingly in pain with the lack of connections and only myself to confide in. But sometimes, it makes me wonder how I became so empowered enough to treat the word "psycho" as a compliment? Maybe rebellion is in my blood, and like the Rahu-influenced person I am in my Rahu mahadasha with this Guru Chandal Yoga, I seek to break the flawed hypocritical society and the reality it upholds as I spit to its face.

Guru Chandal Yoga is definitely a chaotic one. But it's one that could give you new ways of thinking that the greater superficial society won't bother comprehend. As someone who has this Yoga, I always believe that those ones who have strong Guru Chandal influence will also be able to find just as noble and golden paths to illuminate for others belonging to their own personal causes.

Sure it might be lonely, but embrace your eccentricities. You'll never know how many people out there would root for you.

Random Thoughts About Debilitated Planets in Vedic Astrology (Pt. 2)

So to continue my series, I'll reiterate the possible good sides of your debilitated planets (in case you have them). I would probably cover the bad sides of exalted placements next after I go through all the planets.

Again, 4th house is comfort and "debilitation" is often taken under the context that it's a planet's uncomfortable condition. Debilitation is also seen as a loss of dignity and strength, losses are part of the 12th house's domain. And since debilitation is outside or away of the planet's comfort, this would also fit the significance of foreign lands of the 12th house. So let's begin!

Debilitated Mercury (in Pisces)

In my opinion, this is the most undebilitated among the debilitated placements. I would say it gives off the same vibe as Vipreet Raj Yoga. Some may argue that Mercury is a highly logical planet, a businessman, a socialite, and being in Pisces makes it boundless and unrealistic. I can agree to that, Mercury in Pisces is almost always a fever dream, but this can also manifest as some sort of genius. Remember, Pisces is otherworldy. It is a highly transcendental sign. Since it's water and dual, it can morph its transcendence in any context. A Mercury in Pisces can make one a wildcard, where in the world of business, you could be as competent as a Libra Mercury. In the world of technology, you could be as groundbreaking as an Aquarius Mercury. Lastly, this can make one an artistic/creative powerhouse.

It can also be taken as venturing on business pursuits, pursuing intellectual growth, better motivation towards multilingualism, and heightened activity as one steps into foreign lands.

Debilitated Venus (in Virgo)

One thing about this, is it's actually a pretty sweet placement for Venus. Virgo is details, yeah, nitpicky yeah. But on the good side, this is the pinnacle of genuine constructive criticism out of love. Also if you are the type to be attracted to the smarts, then this can reassure you with an intellectual partnership. Virgo is also a sign associated with healing, care, service. While yes, Venus in Vedic astrology is not the same in Western in a way that Venus is self indulgent and materialistic, if you think about it, Virgo is almost always in tangent with comforts. How can you perform your best if you aren't at your best health? How can you enjoy your stay in a hotel that is not clean? Venus likes to enjoy, and Virgo has any means to make this Venus self sufficient to make its enjoyment and own self indulgences. Virgo enables Venus in general. There cannot be tender love without meticulous and routinely approach to care and service.

This can also be seen as finding love, having boosted creativity, luxury, more enjoyment in foreign lands.

Random Thought About Debilitated Planets in Vedic Astrology (Pt. 1)

Sometimes, I wonder how just because a planet is debilitated, it's already bad. Sure there will always be that argument that said planet cannot perform due to being uncomfortable or outside of comfort zone... But if we use that argument to prove otherwise, it can make sense how debilitated planets might actually turn out good. ESPECIALLY if your eyeing to move abroad and have foreign settlement.

DISCLAIMER: I am not a professional astrologer, moreso in Vedic, nor am I knowledgeable about Hindu contexts. So please take what I say with a grain of salt. Any feedback will be appreciated since I'm also learning Vedic.

So to continue, 4th house is said to be the house of comforts. If we use the argument for debilitation, it should imply the opposite of 4th house. I wouldn't mean the 10th house, but the signification of comfort which is discomfort. But 4th house also belongs to homeland, and opposite to homeland is foreign lands.

Another thing is that foreign lands is signified by the 12th house. 12th house is also the house of loss, and guess what...? Debilitation is the loss of strength of a planet, or is it?

My point is, planets don't necessarily lose its overall strength, but like the comfort argument, it just feels out of zone. But if you actually dabble on the "discomfort", you might actually end up strengthening that debilitated planet for good.

Discomfort here could mean, doing the things that are the opposite to your planetary significations OR embodying that planet's energy OUTSIDE your comfort place. Let's go through each planets.

Debilitated Sun (in Libra)

What I often hear about debilitated Sun is that "you put the king in the marketplace" and that "the king is uncomfortable in dealing with the common people". Libra represents market and the masses, but with Sun being in this sign, it can actually give one the potential to be an exemplary leader who people can easily connect to. You can also see it in a way that it helps you turn down your ego. Compromising here and being fair and diplomatic can actually make you more respected and famous (as the usual Sun functions).

It can also be taken as being a conventional leader, charismatic person, or main person AWAY from your homeland. You could actually be more egoistic (for good) in foreign lands.

Debilitated Moon (in Scorpio)

Ah, yes, when emotions are too much that it constricts you and prevents you to breathe... except that this can actually make you a genuine person in the realm of emotions. Okay, sure, Scorpio is also associated with secrecy, and it makes Moon very very suppressed. But Moon is not only just emotions, but also psyche. In one's psyche, the shadow is always there and the Moon is no stranger to shadows and darkness since it rises at night where it illuminates the sky. This can make one have a very strong intuition and makes one more equipped in psychologically transcending themselves. Without intensity and secrets, one cannot easily unearth the subconscious and even conscious matters.

It can also be taken as having a more evolved psyche and better emotional regulation/mental health and more abundant comforts when AWAY from homeland.

Debilitated Mars (in Cancer)

THIS. Is quite a poetic debilitated planet. So Mars is the soldier, it's all about fighting. But the thing is, you can't really make the home (Cancer) a battlefield. Now there's a beautiful quote/question that could present as a beautiful argument to this, "Would you rather be a warrior in the garden or a gardener in a war?" What many people get wrong about nurturing is that it's about the gentle/soft/maternal energy, but you can nurture anyone by being strongheaded and a fighter. I don't mean this in a way that you nurture people by being an abusive warfreak, heck no. What this can show is that, it makes one "okay" with channeling their anger for the sake of standing up for themselves and those who they consider "family". There are many parents who demonize anger and confrontation, but one can never know peace without knowing conflict and how to fight for oneself. This can make one a solid protector.

It can also be taken as you being more assertive, ambitious, willing to stand up for self and others when AWAY from homeland.

5H-Pregnancy and Children (Part 2) 🤩🩷

NOTE: I'm covering the left out planets in this subtopic on the previous post. I accidentally focused a lot on how ur child can be rather than ur relationship with ur child (I focused on this perspective on part 1 planets). However I believe that you yourself can obtain an idea of how the relationship might be based on reading this. 5H RAHU- The kid can be very mischievous and unpredictable. They can be having swift responses to everything and difficult to understand because of their tendency to merge with the surroundings and change their behaviour accordingly 🤭🫣.They can embody air sign energy a lot (ofc rahu nakshatras are all in air signs tho), which means they want to be constantly mentally stimulated to keep them from doing any unwanted mischievous things that could potentially cross the line. Make sure to provide the mental stimulation through interactive game sessions and answer all their nonsense questions in a convincing and child friendly way bcoz they'll eventually find another source to find out the answer which you may not like 🫢.They can be distracted and messy at many times, u may have to pay extra attention to take care of them. You can have excessive cravings during pregnancy, take care to not overindulge in anything. Delivery maybe assisted even if it's normal (Depends on aspects 5H receives). Also, taking care of proper menstrual cycles is essential in 5H nodes for healthy conception. Higher possibility of first child being a male.🧡🧡

5H KETU- The kid might exhibit similar characteristics like 5H saturn interpretation but few differences can be seen. While 5H saturn's kids can mingle with older children and find comfort in the care of elders, 5H ketu's kids can thrive in isolation, they're not alone bcoz they're sad, they might enjoy their own company and live in their own mind, quietly being observant and keeping their thoughts within themselves 🩶🩶. 🖤People with Mars-Vesta aspects like sexual exclusivity and are not the biggest fans of one-night stands. Hi! Here for the game again, this is my second (revised) draft because I knew I didn't put a moodboard and an analysis with my first one so here goes!

Use your 3rd house & Mercury for manifestation

Finding your own manifestation method that gives consistent results, at a consistent frequency is peak life magic for me.

My manifestation method is called "Written coloured words on calendar". I have a theory that since Mercury is associated with The Magician in Tarot, it has something to do with manifesting, especially by using verbal or written words. Mercury will help manifesting the themes of the house that it rules. While the energy of the planet that rules your 3rd house will be the tool to communicate and express your messages.

Do give it a try and tell me if it's effective for you too. If you have your own manifestation method, feel free to spread the magic.

1. What you need

Coloured pens (the colour of the ink of the pen or the lead if you are using pencils, not the colour of the case)

A calendar that has space to write on (other things like a piece of paper or notebook don't work)

Basic astrology knowledge & your chart: you should know what planet rules your 3rd house and what house does Mercury rule in your chart

2. How I do it

The colour: Choose the pen with the colour that matches the colour associated with the planet that rules your 3rd house.

The phrase: I write "I want/need change" with that coloured pen around the space of the present day on the calendar. The phrase should be short, with a broad meaning, conveys the matters related to the house that Mercury rules in your chart. Don't be too specific like I want a red dress or I want 100$, start with general terms like asking for changes, surprises, chances, opportunities, helps, guidance.

Timing: the manifestation will happen within the next week, without fail, this is how it worked for me, the speed might depend on the planet that rules your 3rd house.

Example of how it works: I have Mercury rules my 3rd house & 6th house so it can be straightforward, whenever I wrote "I want change" with green (colour of Mercury) pen on the calendar, within the next week, a new business partnership/offer & more works (3rd & 6th house matters) appeared, I met someone new who would have Gemini or Virgo or both placements in their chart, who I would do business with, work with, travel with or became my friend (3rd & 6th house matters).

*Notes:

So you won't be able to manifest other things related to different houses & planets other than 3rd house and Mercury? → Most likely, I've tried with different houses & planets but it usually had short-term effect or no observable effect, while 3rd house and Mercury gave more long-term effects.

Each manifestation works only once, if you want it to happen again, you will need to write again.

3. Colours associated with each planet & their effect

Here is the list of effects I have observed through the years practising this. It can change depending on your chart though, try to experiment with each one yourself.

Yellow - Sun: Joyful events

Grey - Moon: No observable effect

Green - Mercury: Business, friendships, partnerships (strongest manifestation power, at least for me)

Pink - Venus: Interactions, pleasant exchanges

Red - Mars, Black - Pluto: Immediate unpleasant effects like traffic problems, meeting people in bad moods, troubles with machines, things become more hectic

Navy - Saturn, Blue - Uranus, Teal - Neptune : No observable effect

Purple - Neptune/Jupiter : Increase or decrease of interactions with people, can give rise to popularity but can also slow down your progress (I haven't really figured out this one yet)

Orange - Jupiter: Chances to expand your perspective, be more brave, test your resolution and faith. Some events can be negative at first but will turn out alright, after that you will learn some valuable lessons.

Getting Into Vedic (my own observations)

Lately, I've been into reading my love/spouse related placements.

7th Lord in 7th House, Sun in Leo, Sun Atmakaraka - from my understanding of each placement and synthesizing them together, this would make my relationships the main purpose of my life as well as a point of personal development where handling of ego can make or break the relationships. Heavy responsibility when it comes to ego, an unhealthy display could cost the relationship. It could also indicate a devoted spouse, and even a good indicator of foreign settlement. It could also be that the spouse has ego issues, or ego issues is the common problematic theme in the relationship. Since I'm an Aquarius Lagna, this is also quite an uncomfortable position for Sun, but the dignity could alleviate it.

7th Lord/Sun in Purva Phalguni - I'm not much aware of the Nakshatra itself, but since it's a Venusian nakshatra, this definitely helps in harmonizing the marriage/relationship.

7th Lord D1 goes to 6th house in D9 while getting debilitated, dispositor Venus is in 9th house Capricorn - Venus is in a friendly sign and in a trikon house, this should help the debilitation of Sun. Marriage might be at risk of divorce and tons of fights, but considering Sun being in a Pushkara Navamsa, this would show that marriage might end up turning for the better. (I mean who wants a divorce, I value relationships highly)

Venus in Ashlesha D1, Venus in Cancer 6th house, Moon DK being exalted in Taurus in the 4th house - I did stumble upon KRS's video about Venus in Ashlesha but I wanna ask an additional question, does Venus here really point out to the spouse/woman only? Wouldn't it supposed to indicate something about me as well? Venus is quite off here, being in a dusthana and an enemy sign, but dispositor Moon is exalted (although Moon is a functional malefic for me). Parivartan yoga between Moon and Venus should help their significations, and even in the 6th house, Venus being yogakaraka should be rewarding if I put on necessary work in 6th house matters. Moon DK exalted is really good too, this stabilizes the nature of Moon.

Please correct me if I understand my placements wrong! I would love to learn and improve my understanding of vedic!
