His boyfriend. Might was his boyfriend - that concept was so strange. Never in a million years did he think he would ever be romantically involved with a supervisor he previously had vaguely detested. But that was not exactly the real Might, was it? No, the real Might stood before him now like that, a shyness and exhaustion to him, someone who was trying now. "It does," he agreed, mauling over the words in his head for a further moment.

He let Might kiss him, a gentle and delicate kiss that was over in just a moment. Another strange thing, these soft kisses might be a regular thing now. He could wake up everyday, his body numb from sleep, Might could always be the first thing he sees upon waking up. A kiss every morning, one before he goes to work, a full stream of them when he comes back. Maybe Arian was getting too ahead of himself. He smiled again at that compliment, his head turned to the side as his cheeks turned a light pink. "Ah, thank you. You have such a lovely smile as well." Might really was so handsome, there was no denying that even in an objective point of view.

The Assistant nodded, picking up the cup in his hand. It really had gotten cold: he walked over to the kitchen, Might following him not too far away. When he reached the kitchen counter, he put down the cup and took out his electric kettle, pouring the contents in and turning it on, making sure to adjust the temperature control. "My dear, Might, like I said, you don't have to thank me. It's no trouble at all." Arian gave a yawn, he was quite exhausted as well. "I have a guest bedroom, it should be ready for you to sleep in. All I need is to take a blanket out of the closet. Well, unless." He paused, considering it. Would it be too forward to suggest that perhaps, Might would like to sleep in his bed, with him? They were romantically involved after all, but that was only decided a minute ago. He inhaled before continuing, "Unless you would like to sleep with me? In my bed, I mean, there is plenty of room. But of course, if you're uncomfortable with it, I can get the guest room all set."

The assistant allowed himself to smile, a tiny and maudlin turn of the lip, looking towards the distance. They would be fine - yes, they were safe for now. Just the faint lights, that chill that was so characteristic for his apartment. No one was out to get them just yet. He shouldn't be scared, his life had never been one of danger and losses. Even Apollo, that fleeting feeling of grief and tragedy was all short-lived. Arian should consider himself lucky. "Yes, I am alright." He really did mean it.

He wondered why he had gotten so emotional suddenly, started counting his blessings and feeling so grateful. Perhaps it was just something in the air: he reached forward towards his cup but found that it had gotten cold. "Hm, you want me to warm your tea?" He looked up, his eyes meeting Might's. "Oh? Do you feel tired? I can start taking care of the sleeping arrangements."

Arian furrowed his eyebrows at the question, letting out a silent laugh. "I rather hope so, we have been kissing all night and comforting each other," he said, his eyes closed and his face had a small, close-lipped smile. "It would be a shame if it all ended. I really do want to date you, but it's your decision."

He sat back and held onto him, letting himself soak up all the sensations and feelings that came with kissing Might. Some of Might's tears had found themselves on the Assistant's own cheeks, the water warm and leaving a tingling feeling on his skin. He leaned back for a few moments, sighing and he reassured, "Might, you deserve the world." But I don't deserve you. Now, Arian wasn't so diffident to think he was a terrible person, he wasn't, but the point still remains that he wasn't anything at all. Not like Dr Apollo, NC or even Might, who were everything. Might deserved something more.

Arian noticed how Might had suddenly stopped, his lips lingered on his, but there was no movement coming from him. "Might? Are you well?" He asked, his voice coated with concern.

He wrapped an arm around him, holding the other man into an embrace. "No, you weren't being ridiculous, not at all. I feel like my word choice was poor: I can tell that this subject affects you greatly." Arian looked down, a numb expression on his face. "You have been hurt so much, hurt and manipulated by so many people. I desire nothing more than to help you somehow, to bring you some comfort."

He has always known how disruptive and unscrupulous the MBRA was, but hadn't he always chosen to ignore it? To forget about it, never think about it deeply. Even when it affected him or the people he loved, he had always turned a blind eye to it. "Please don't thank me. It's really nothing." That name, it sent a tingling feeling to his skin. It felt nice. "And yes, please call me that."

He sat up straighter, cupping Might's cheeks in his own hands, bringing his face forward to kiss him. Arian could feel the tips of Might's eyelashes, still wet from those tears from earlier.

But Arian only shook his head. He hugged Might back just as a tightly. "I should not be praised for the bare minimum. I wish I was nice but I am not particularly, accepting you is something that is a given."

The assistant could tell that it was a big deal with Might, something that caused him a lot of pain and doubt. Arian did not know what to do: he shouldn't be reacting with total nonchalance and indifference. Arian did not mind at all, Might being trans was like him being a certain height or having a certain eye color. Just a characteristic he had, likely not much would change.

Arian held onto his partner, someone he would care for, no matter what. "You are a real man, Might. If you say you are a real man, then you very much are." He took a deep breath, trying to keep his voice composed as ever. "I cannot be mad at you! I mean, to me, this really is nothing." He bit his tongue, wondering if his choice of words were poor or flawed. "I know it means a lot to you, but it does not to me. I will always want to care for you, I will always want to be by your side."

Arian had the sudden urge to laugh out of relief. Here he was, sitting on his couch, worried out of his mind of what Might was going to confess to him. Of course, the Assistant didn't doubt that whatever Might would say to him, he would end up forgiving him no matter what. But given the gravity of the situation, he was expecting something grave.

But what Might had told him, it was nothing at all. Of course it was only Arian who regarded it as that because Might appeared to care about it a lot. To see Might sob, it broke his heart and he reached for his arm to hold tight. "Might, I don't hate you at all, please don't leave me. You didn't lie to me about anything at all. Come on, sit down please. It doesn't matter to me that you are transgender, it does not change a thing for me." Arian paused, kissing Might on the forehead. "Please stay, Might. I don't want you to leave, please."

The Assistant held onto Might's hand, hoping to give him some comfort. Within the next few milliseconds, Arian made up his mind that no matter what Might said next, he would keep on helping him and wishing him well. No matter what. "Take your time, Might. No matter what you say next, I don't think it will matter much to me." He swept forward and give him another quick kiss.

He looked at Might as he uttered his confession, the thing that appeared to be causing him so much anxiety and disquietude. When the secret had been released from his lips, Arian looked at him with a raised eyebrow. A pause before speaking as if Arian was letting him continue or add more. "Wait, is that all you wanted to tell me? The fact you are transgender?"

As Might kissed him once more, he closed his eyes and kissed him back. At this point, the touch of Might and his physical affection had gotten familiar now, he was getting used to it rather well. "I want you to be safe and I fear that you are in a situation that may jeopardize your welfare."

The Assistant took a deep breath as he felt Might move towards his neck. He closed his eyes, his hands running through Might's hair softly. Arian was disappointed when he finally pulled away but he still kept his hands on Might's hair, gently stroking it. "Yes - my apartment has two bedrooms anyway, it isn't an unlikely scenario that we are sharing a living space as two people with only platonic attachments."

At Might's final comment, Arian tilted his head in worry and concern, his hand falling onto Might's chin as he looked at him. "What's wrong, Might?" Arian had to admit it - he feared what Might may say next though he had no idea what he wanted to tell him. "What did you want to tell me?

The Assistant glanced at Might with a raised eyebrow of worry. "Are you well? Did you burn your tongue too badly?" He let out a sigh and took a tentative sip from his own mug. "Let your tea cool for a little longer."

He followed Might into the living room and watched as the man sat down and put his mug on the glass coffee table. Arian's apartment complex was neat and tidy, partly because of his pedant nature, partly because of his lack of materialistic desire. The coffee table only had a vase of carnations and a few books he had not touched in a long time. When Might had sat, the assistant proceeded to sit next to him, mug in hand. He felt Might's warmth as he snuggled up to Arian: dear Lord, they had kissed but Arian couldn't help but feel surprised at the most lightest of physical contact. He put his head on Might shoulder, his forehead touching his neck.

"That is a deeply perplexing issue but I mean, if the MBRA did find out that we are living under the same roof, would they automatically assume that we were... romantically entangled? You could be in need of another place to stay for a number of reasons, not just because you are defying the MBRA. I will do my best to protect you, Might, even if my efforts do end up in vain."

"You shouldn't be worrying for me, I worry about you most of all. You know, Might, thank you for entrusting me with the information you have imparted today." He raised his head and gave him a quick kiss on the jawline.

Management: Update on the MBU burning

Hello, residents of Mary Bell Township. As you know, on the 21st of June this year, a violent attack was done on our township by detonating bombs on the Mary Bell University. (MBU) We at the MBRA have been working tirelessly this summer to find the perpetrators of this terrible act. Unfortunately, we have not have any proven attackers, but we have gathered a list of suspects. - Camp Vernon Vernon was present at the University the night of June 21st, claiming to be "hanging out with [his] friends." After the attack, he was one of the very few people with major injuries, signifying he was in the University during the explosion and/or the fire. We have tried to interview him further, but we have not been able to locate him. If you have contact to, have recently seen, or locate Camp Vernon in the future, contact the MBRA immediately. Vernon is our most wanted suspect. - Varen "Mod" Leary Leary was also present at the University during the attack, they were occupied in their dorm that evening. They sustained very minor injuries. However, they seem to have been heavily involved with a group of people that included suspects such as Camp Vernon, possibly also treating the injuries of him. Leary has also not been present to interview. Once again, please report to the MBRA if you locate or can contact Mod Leary for an interview. Something about that quiet whisper in his ear made the hairs on the back of his neck stand up, Arian tried to act as rational and neutral as possible. Try to keep his voice balanced, what would Might think if he knew how much he affected Arian? "It was my pleasure, Might." He turned around to kiss him on the forehead. He picked up Might's mug and gingerly handed it to him. "Here you go. Careful though, it's rather hot."

He took his own mug and held it in his own hand, taking a sip to check its taste. "Would you like to go sit in the living room?"

Arian shook his head. "You don't have to apologise, Might, you are not doing anything wrong. And I understand, you are still adjusting to being your own person." He took out two tea-bags and dropped them on the two mugs. Behind him, he could feel Might's touch on his neck and Arian's neck flushed red. Lord, he needed to get used to it or else he couldn't be able to compute around Might.

He closed his eyes as he let Might's kisses brush over him. The tea steeped into the mug as steam coming from the mug surrounded the counter. "No - No, you aren't. Well, perhaps you are but don't leave please."

"As long as you want," Arian repeated with a smile on his face, though Might could not see him as his back faced him. "Don't thank me. Rather I believe I should be thanking you. I would like your company very much." He hummed to himself softly as he turned off the heat in the kettle and took out a pack of tea bags for green tea.

"It's no problem," he poured water on both of the mugs and turned to him. "Might, I don't want you to be nervous with me. I do understand if you are wary around me but know that I will not judge you or think badly of you." He paused, gesturing to him to come towards him. "Of course you can stay in the kitchen with me. You don't have to ask."
