7. A medium of art you don't work in but appreciate

i find sculptors and artists who work with malleable materials really admirable because i wish i could do that. i had a horrid professor in plastic arts (basically clay sculpture class) in highschool that made me hate the subject and haven't recovered since... so people who do sculptures with clay or ceramics are so cool to me

8. What's an old project idea that you've lost interest in

SO MANY LMFAO I think i officially have given up giving sandra, zoe and anita their specific story though, i have been thinking of integrating them as part of the wider mondoverse tho. perhaps this will be rectified later on but for now kitschionage is no more...

i looooove drawing shirts and ties and pants. toe in toe with me liking to draw suits. but i also like drawing leather materials!!

bloodletting and blood and bones in general to represent a bond to life itself, also you might've noticed but i have a thing for characters whose bodies are not entirely theirs and struggle in conflict with an external entity who wants control of their body. hanged-man-ness of it all

ummm i don't often do super complex symbolic pieces so this hasn't really happened to me, lol, for better or for worse HAHA. so i think it's fine...

Oh this is a very good question... I am not sure per se, but i think there's some things i've absorbed through the years from media and other artists i like without noticing except way later... ummm... but i have difficulty individuing these specific things Myself

one thing i have noticed is that perhaps most ocs of mine who identify as men specifically always tend to have medium to long hair and a stubble or a beard, which is very indicative to how many of my favorite male characters in media also tend to look like, so i guess this is something that counts for this?

21. Art styles nothing like your own but you like anyways

ohhh so many. i particularly love the style cartoons from the 70s and 60s had, there's a level of stylization in them i try to absorb in some of my work but well it's definitely a challenge! this might be the only one because subconsciously and consciously my art style seems to reflect a mishmash of the art styles i do enjoy.

29. Media you love, but doesn't inspire you artistically

hmmm... if by artistically you intend specifically the like aspect of art that is drawing and creating things in a certain way, then i would have to say movies and tv shows, because while i do for example really love twin peaks and some of david lynch's movies i only take mild inspiration from the vibes and themes but don't borrow a lot artistically, even if i like thinking about them from time to time.

i don't honestly watch enough movies or animated series on my own to be more specific tho

2. Is it easier to draw someone facing left or right (or forward even)

tbh for me its easier to draw either left, right, and front facing faces. what really fucks me up most of the time is drawing profiles because i dont remember how proportions work on the head from the side right away . it is a pain in the ass!!

4. Fav character/subject that's a bitch to draw

if you mean character wise as in my ocs, gadriel because i gave them so many stupid funny details that its hard to draw them without having to pull up a reference to get them correctly.

as for subject, i love drawing suits, but i seriously forget how fucking hard they are to draw every time...

oh perspective also, extreme perspective is something i love drawing but i imperatively need references to pull off the crazy ideas i get.

12. Easiest part of body to draw

for me it's frankly the hands, because after practicing them for years drawing them has become fairly intuitive (though sometimes refs are still needed). sometimes i still get the proportions of the body dramatically wrong but the hands will come out looking fine

i dont think you guys wanted to know what haley and ducky looked like before they went both full slasher couple mode, but here they are anyways

idk if i dropped the lore on here, but haley used to be a surgeon full of malpractice clauses against her (rightful because shes just. evil) in canada, and then moved to texas to try and make a new life there of sorts (and to avoid all the accusations not very cleverly). there she met ducky at the hospital she worked at, a nurse with equally wicked fantasies and when ducky caught haley either plotting a next murder or casually killing someone in the after-hours they became sort of an item (whether haley did it just to shut ducky up or did it out of "pure love" is kind of ambiguous since haley is. haley.)

they didnt last long as hospital staff though, the Malpractice Was Noticed very fast (they were fucking killing patients and all, so like, not exactly untraceable still even if it happens in the 60s [so forgive me if the hospital staff uniforms arent entirely time period accurate i was going off on vibes]) so they both booked it, skipped town, what have you, and became full-time on the road slashers/serial killers. kind of like, stu and billy from scream but as adult gay women, with some vibes of natural born killers protags in them.

admittedly haley never really cared for the romantic side of their relationship (shes more about fucking and trucking and maiming tbh) but having ducky around was convenient since ducky helped her cover their tracks and was very efficient in getting rid of eyewitnesses so. Um. too bad haley had other plans and then broke up with her and all
