I always thought Burr a more stocky and wide type guy…BUT HE WAS A TWINK!?
Oh yeah, especially in his younger days. He did put on a noticeable bit of weight in the last quarter of his life (which is probably where you got that impression), but until his late 60s, he was a pretty fit and lean.
He would walk miles in a day just for fun and had an obsession with maintaining what he considered a "healthy" diet (very little meat, plenty of potatoes & beans/rice) because he suffered from GI issues as a result of the Revolution.
He also apparently had really beautiful eyes that everyone (both men and women) would comment on constantly. A lot of second-hand accounts we have about Burr have these long paragraphs of people just describing how deep and pensive and brooding his eyes are.
He was even arrested once because someone (Nicholas Perkins) recognized him by his "brilliant, shining eyes."
-
But yeah, see for yourself! These portraits were taken about a decade apart; one when Burr was 35ish and the other right around the time of his duel with Hamilton when he was 48ish.

I think that the Hamilton musical is objectively the funniest thing that could happen to that man's memory. Imagine dying of a gunshot wound infection in 1804 and learning from the afterlife that tweenage girls in 2017 are drawing thousands upon thousands of images of you making out with your fellow congressmen because someone wrote a 2-hour rap opera about you. I like to imagine that Hamilton found a monkey's paw and wished to leave a legacy, and this is what it did to him.

but wasn't hamilton just one of those guys that when asked would say "slavery is bad" but never actually did anything about it
Basically, but it’s a bit more complicated than that. While Hamilton found the idea of slavery distasteful, to fight for its abolishment would have contradicted his stance on property rights and would have disrupted the overall financial progress of the country. Also, coming from humble beginnings, Hamilton rose to power by befriending people of wealth, many of which were slaveowners (like George Washington), and furthermore married a Schuyler, a slaveowning family. So, he kinda just kept his flap shut whenever the subject was being discussed.
As for the whole him-and-John-Laurens-teaming-up-to-enlist-black-soldiers-in-the-Contienental-Army-and-also-grant-them-freedom thing, that was because we really, really, were in need of more soldiers. The way Hamilton saw it was “Hey, we’ve got thousands of people here who we can force to do what we want, and if we don’t use them the British will steal them and make them do what they want, which is fight us.” So really, he saw it as a practicality thing, not a moral one.
We do know that he was part of the Society for the Promotion of the Manumission of Slaves in New York, but there are no records showing that he was an active or prominent member, not to mention that many people in the society were slaveowners, so being a part of it wouldn’t have clashed with any of Hamilton’s high-society friends.
So, to sum it up, Hamilton was no fan of slavery, but he didn’t want getting rid of it to interfere with the protection of property rights. He also supported the three-fifths clause, by the by.
