I'm sorry if you're tired of thinking about ofmd and that whole mess but goddamn... it's incredibly painful to see so many people trying to set up fundraisers to get their families out of gaza and the sudan and desperately trying to get their loved ones to safety, I've seen so many and everyday I check to see how much progress they've made, most of them still haven't hit their goal. It hurts to see people rally around a tv show and raise all this money for a billboard, and it's very frustrating to see how people have reacted to this criticism. Like bro tv shows get canceled sometimes there's more important stuff going on

Someone else said it better but to see a fundraiser for tv show renewal advertisements raise $20,000 in less than a day while it takes days/weeks/months/years/never for fundraisers for actual causes that help real people in need reach a goal of less is absolutely dystopian and shameful

Living on a planet where any government is allowed to go through with military action that they know will result in the death of civilians should be gut-wrenchingly painful for all of us. Over 10,000 children have died in Palestine since October 7th, and there is not a single child in Gaza who is not suffering. CHILDREN. INFANTS. I can't stop thinking about all the innocent children we are losing and leaving to suffer every day.

Please use whatever privilege you have to do whatever you can during the Global Strike for Palestine (January 21st - 28th). Contact your representatives. Call for an immediate ceasefire. Boycott, stimulate the economy as minimally as possible, participate in pro-Palestinian protests, educate yourself, and most importantly, amplify the voices of Palestinians.

But you’re so big and strong! You fly ten miles a day to hunt for us and you defend me from nosey knights who try to ‘rescue’ me!”

The dragon nodded. “Yes, but other dragons can fly for a thousand miles a day and hunt for an army, and they could fight off an army too. After fighting a single knight I become quite tired… This is why I live alone in this cave, away from other dragons. They harass me for my weakness, and try to push me to do more… they say what I am is not enough.” With this, the dragon lowered it’s head, seeming to feel ashamed. 

The smaller, human shaped dragon kissed the larger one on the snout. “Well, you are certainly enough for me. You might not be able to fight or feed an army, but your hunts keep us both full and your claws keep us both safe. And I always look forward to curling up under your wings at the end of the day. You don’t have to be alone anymore.” They frowned, their brow furrowing. “It makes me angry how you were treated.”

“It makes me angry how you were treated! That is what drew me to rescue you. I could see your society was treating you the same as mine was… Pushing you to do too much when you were tired, not appreciating you for who you are… but I appreciate you. You always know how to make me laugh, and all your little faces are so cute. I always look forward to feeling you press against my sides at the end of the day.” It nuzzled them. “You are dragon enough for me, better than any other dragon I have met. You are enough.”

Coined by me (Satanick) to describe my own personal gender experience using the term "pixie king". Flag colour meanings under cut.

PIXIE KING (left): A term used to describe feeling like a man in a feminine, delicate, graceful and mature way that has a strong sense of sexuality to it. Someone who feels sex, beauty, femininity and being a man are all essential to their gender identity and expression. Does not necessarily imply being male.

PIXIE ROYALTY (middle): A term used to describe feeling like no particular gender in a graceful and mature way that has a strong sense of sexuality to it. Someone who feels sex, beauty and being of no particular gender are all essential to their gender identity and expression. Does not necessarily imply being nonbinary.

PIXIE QUEEN (right): A term used to describe feeling like a woman in a masculine, strong, graceful and mature way that has a strong sense of sexuality to it. Someone who feels sex, beauty, masculinity and being a woman are all essential to their gender identity and expression. Does not necessarily imply being female.

for anon! i used primarily cool and dark colors to represent those aspects, light blue for comfort and peace, the gradient from dark blue to light blue for nightlights, and brown for stuffed animals. the term combines ‘dar’ from ‘dark’, ‘comf’ from ‘comfort’, ‘plush’, + ‘ic’!
