I'm leaving the critical comunity,ts been negativley affecting my mental health for a long while now, specially my fears of "Ending up" like vivziepop, so I'm leaving.

I'm unfollowing mostly every hazbin critical creator I follow, because I need a break. If something I'll only follow one or two because I still want to know if something important happens.

I want to get away from the drama, and, If I post Hazbin stuff, I want it to be stuff I enjoy, like my rewrite blog @goereconresort, which honestly isnt much of a hazbin rewrite since I'm changing most characters and dynamisc and shits to make something original but yeah.

The only thing about Hazbin Helluva and the Hellaverse that currently make me happy are my Aus and takes on the characters, my Headcanons if you will.

I wanted to RP more in this account but, well its not worth it to my mental health, I can always include my oc in my original stuff whithout the limitations of a show im neutral/negative about.

I'll leave this here but I will "archive" the blog for memorys sake and uh, yeah. Bye. I'll reply to a few messages if I get any but thats about it.

Heeey Angel, can I talk to you about something? I don't know who else to talk with about this and, since we both worked under Val at some point before he died I thought you would be my best (and closest) bet. So techinicalities blahblah my contract made it so each of the Vees had a portion of my soul, thus me being their "everything person" You know, helping designing sets for the porn films, or Velvettes fashion shows or, editing videos for Vox... And I...I don't think I can do it anymore. Do you think there's a "safe way" for me to quit working with Vox..? I'm..really not doing well and it feels like everything is crushing down rn.

Hey, Laurel! The short answer would be no.

But here's my advice, get a lawyer if you can. There wouldn't be an exit clause but there might be some sort of loophole you can exploit? Sometimes the contract is null if whoever you sold your soul to isn't upholding their side of the deal. but that would have to be decided in court.

You can also try your luck with Satan himself. He broke Husk's contract with alastor. I don't know if he'd be willing to do that with just anyone though.

The only other (unsafe) option is death. Doesn't necessarily have to be yours.

I’ve been thinking and maybe..maybe I’ve been looking at this show wrong. I as well as others critique this show like we would critique a show that’s not meant to be fanfictiony and messy and “for the fans” so to speak. But honestly…I think this shows supposed to be all those things. It’s written like a fanfiction because that’s what it kinda is. It’s Vivs fanfiction, her story. shes telling it not to make us question reality or some shit she’s writing it because it’s fun. And it’s supposed to be littered with fanservice because it’s made with what the fans want in mind. It was written like this in the beginning, this was what it was always destined to be. There most likely were no retcons.

….and that’s ok. I still don’t like it, but it is what it is and that’s ok.

Vivziepop Standom obseesion with porn.

So yeah I think it's clear for everyone with eyes how much the standom likes porn of their fictional characters.

NOW YOU CAN LIKE PORN, THAT IN ITSELF IS NOT A PROBLEM.

But dudes, dudettes, NB and GNCdettes. going to VOICEACTORS asking for them to sign your porn?? If they were PORN voice actors, sure I could see why, but let me remind you that despite Hazbin and Helluva being set in hell, we NEVER get explicit sexual relationships. It's always Before or after the fact. EVEN IN POISON, the scenes are edited so that nothing explicit is actually shown, they CUT before the porn scenes begin. THEY ARENT PORN ACTORS/VOICE ACTORS.THEYRE JUST REGULAR ACTORS.

Imagine going to watch a WW2 movie. and then at a fan event or whatever, you go to the actor that pretended to be Hitler, and asked them to sign your Nazi flag.

Imagine now you're doing that thing, while cosplaying hitler.

People cosplay valentino, and while I'm OK with adults cosplaying villain characters, I've heard more than a few stories of Angeldust cosplayers having, let's say, inadequate interactions with Val cosplayers.

COSPLAY DOESNT MEAN CONSENT. AND JUST BECAUSE SOMEONE COSPLAYS AN ABUSE VICTIM, IT DOESNT GIVE PERMISSION TO SOMEONE COSPLAYED AS THE ABUSER TO "ACT IN CHARACTER" WITH THAT COSPLAYER WITHOUT THEIR EXPLICIT CONSENT.

"I draw sexy/NSFW fanart of Valentino/ ValentinoXVox" Ok I get it, the character is meant to be somewhat hot, draw your ships BUT Remember to tag it accordingly and use moderation/censorhip tools acordingly. Bluesky has a GREAT filter mechanism so that the people who don't want to see it can AVOID it.

"I drew NSFW art of Val x Angel x Vox" REMEMBER TO ADD TRIGGER WARNINGS!!! ON TOP OF EVERYTHING SAID PREVIOUSLY. Usually people will post it without a warning or a written text that specifies what's in the art. And someone, thinking it's just valvox art can click it because "Oh I don't mind staticmoth" and THEN get a surprise rape scene. THAT IS NOT FUN. PORN ON ITSELF ITS NOT WRONG. But how you act regarding said porn CAN BE. Not everyone feels comfortable with/around porn, and you as an artist CANT force people to be OK with it.

Is Viv wrong for drawing Porn of her characters? NO. They're her characters, she can draw porn of them if she wants. It's okay for her to imagine how the intimacy of Stolas and Blitz looks like for example. What she can't do is expect for EVERYONE to be OK with how said intimacy works. Not everyone is going to be comfortable with Val x Angel content. Even if said intimacy is an IMPORTANT part of their relationship and development.

And I say this as an artist who is slowly dipping it's toes into drawing NSFW art of their OCS.

Again, PORN ITS NOT WRONG, BUT IT MUST BE TACKLED WITH TASTE. End of Super long post.

It’s pretty much Hazbin Hotel but Alastor’s the one to open the hotel.
