The one standing up
Armin Arlert was new at Rose High and the student showing him around was a nice guy named Marco. The school was pretty big and very neat and beautiful. When it was time for lunch Marco even picked him up from his lesson and brought him to the cafeteria. They were sitting with a few people, Armin having forgotten the names already.
It was nice to have somewhat of friends and the time flew by just in the right amount. At the end of lunch Marco and him were making their way towards their next class which they had together.
Just as they went into the right hallway did they hear a shout of pain. Both of them being alarmed they quickly made their way into the direction the screaming was coming from.
There in the hallway stood a tall blonde guy which was beating the crap out of a blonde haired boy.
The moment Armin wanted to walk over, Marco held him back and shook his head.In that moment a brown haired blue eyed boy walked over and stood between the blonde and the tall guy called Erwin. “Oi Erwin! How come I always stand back up? I thought you’re able to punch?!”, he screamed at Erwin and laughed a humorless laugh. The small blonde guy quickly got up and ran away. Instead of this small boy the brown haired boy, Eren was his name, took all the beatings. Whenever Armin saw him he was taking beatings for others. No one would help him but he would get in the way of Erwin smashing another poor student’s head in. One day Armin was walking towards his maths class and rounded a corner to get into the correct hall. As he was walking he bumped into a muscular chest. Erwin’s chest to be precise. Armin cowered back in fear. “Another little coconut. What the fuck do you think you’re doing here? Just minding your own business and thinking you can get away with that?”, the bulky guy hollered and Armin was now flush against the wall. “Maybe I need to teach you a lesson…” Erwin laughed. The short blonde guy closed his eyes and waited for the blow to come but it never did. “Erwin! I am here! I don’t think you’re standing in front of the right guy!”, a voice he knew all too well hollered. Just then a tall back stood in front of him. “Run.”, he heard Eren hiss but he hesitated. “I said run. We’re going to get beaten both so just take your things and get out of here.”, Eren hissed again and this time Armin got out of there as fast as he could. Those things happened a few times. Eren always saved him and never accepted any thanks for that saying it is fine. In the far back was a shadow watching the scenes unfold wanting to punch Erwin until he wouldn’t stand up again. The raven always watched and cared for Eren’s wounds when he couldn’t walk after a beating. He was again watching another beating when Erwin took it too far. “Oi, Eren. You’re always saying that you can stand up after my beatings. Well today won’t be one of those days. You’re going to stay on the floor when I’m finished”, he hollered and punched the guy very quickly. Levi heard a cracking sound and saw that Eren stayed on the ground. Blood was oozing out if his nose. Another crack was heard and his jaw slacked. The raven gritted his teeth and walked away from his spot against the lockers. He was as fast as a ghost and stood in front of Eren as Erwin was throwing another punch. He couldn’t stop anymore and Levi took his arm, threw it to the side and made Erwin fall. He heard a satisfying snap and a loud thump. Erwin stayed on the ground and you could hear him groaning. Eren was unconscious, Levi kneeling down next to him and picking him up. He cared again for his wounds but not before hissing at Erwin that whenever he touched Eren again he would pay with his own body. Erwin was afraid of the short raven and just nodded his head. Armin saw everything and was extremely glad that Eren will no longe be hurt. The story might have been a sad one but one with a good ending.
