That works well actually. Honestly now, we just need to get some distance between us and Lungmen. We should request those monitoring bracelets at the same time tbh. I'm shocked the higher ups don't issue it as standard equipment yet.

Seriously, though, we really appreciated it! Also yeah, they did give us hot drinks, which were very much appreciated because it was pouring rain that entire day.

To elaborate on the previous post: yeah uh we were planning on sneaking out. And we tried to do that.

We failed pretty hard. I have no idea what the Draco LGD officer was doing in the slums but she definitely saw us, and one of the cops with her had been on guard duty at the hotel, so it went to shit pretty fast

We did not fight her! We honestly didn’t! But apparently there were some Reunion people nearby and they decided we were a good distraction so they tried to ambush her and…well, I think the LGD thinks we’re terrorists now.

(not that Reunion is an inherently terroristic group! We are not saying that! But the LGD sure considers them terrorists so they aren’t exactly gonna take kindly to thinking we’re with them)

Anyhow, we’ve sent a few messages to HQ about it but it’ll take a year at least to get things cleared up w/ the LGD and in the meantime we’ve been advised to avoid the greater Yan Area.

really wishing that Alive Until Sunset's release schedule wasn't so sporadic. i would schedule trips to cities specifically to line up with their releases if they ever gave enough advance notice for that to happen.

also, an update on my efforts to learn weiqi:

i am unspeakably bad at it. me and Tundra were trying to play in the hotel lobby and a couple of old men gathered around and laughed at us.

think i'm gonna stick to card games for a while

If y'all do ever end up in Lungmen I strongly encourage you to check out the street food. especially the finballs

dude we bought ours from looked shady but he was actually a nice guy with good advice about the local grocery stores. plus the finballs were really good
