I was supposed to do a picnic with my boyfriend today but it is so rainy and it’s muddy. I even bought cookies but ig we’ll have to eat them at his house or something.

I like being able to work. Even though it’s minimum wage and im taxed pretty heavily, I still am happy I get to look forward to something each day. And I have some sort of stability as a 19year old. Because I’m paying for my university fees by myself and also paying for driving lessons to get my license. Everything costs sm money T^T

I finished my exams this week and while I’m excited that I get to rest and just make money this summer, I really miss uni lol. I wanna learn something new again.

I’ve started my university course ‘ Biomedical and Molecular Diagnostic’ and at the beginning it was really hard. It still is now but I’ve learned to handle it better. One of my modules in semester1 was maths where I had calculus and probability. That was the one in which I struggled the most with. But I studied for maths any chance I got and I actually understood how to apply it. For my first test I got 65 % out of 40% and I still haven’t gotten my result for my second test. Ik there were a few things I got wrong like some calculus and some statistics but in all I have a feeling I passed that test. I hope my results are good enough for me to get a pass in the maths module. I’m doing biostatistics this semester. Yesterday was my first class and I quickly got onto studying the material so I don’t fall behind.

I visited Portugal for a week straight with my boyfriend. Will post photos later but I think it was a really nice experience.

I finished creating this crotchet flower bouquet. I’m really proud of it. It might not be the best to others but I’m happy with it because it was my first time doing it. And it looks so girly and cute.

I managed to cook different foods, made pasta from scratch, cooked crumbl cookies, made Biscoff cake pops, had grill outs and I wanna try and make Mexican salsa when I have the time.

I haven’t posted in a month and a lot has happened, camp has finished, I started nannying in the last two weeks of camp, I travelled to Asheville. NC, Atlanta. Georgia, Washington. DC and also New York City in NY. I think that it was the last fun I’ve had in ages and it really makes me want to explore the other side of America and explore its culture.

Once the rookies left Mia, Charlie and I were left to go to the program in office to draw some circus themed posters and after that I was told that I won’t be a camp counsellor anymore and that instead I’ll be a photographer with Mia until camp ends.
