Assignment 7
Samuel Melanson 212897567 In this storyboard, we have the main subject somberly walking down an alleyway as the camera pans in the opposite direction at a slight elevation, looking downwards towards the subject. We then cut to a ground level shot as the subject turns in place. As the subject begins to slide down towards the ground, we cut to a profile shot of the subject in a sitting pose. The subject shakes their head somberly, then as they put the tablet down, we then cut to a 3/4 up angle ground level shot.

Assignment 7
Matthew Litwin 214194260
A hired mercenary is walking down a hallway when she spots a man posed as a cleaner. She seems to look at him and walk by, and the mam checks to see if she's gone. He then looks down and brings his mop down to the ground, holding it in his hands. The girl appears and points a gun at the man, ordering him to raise his hands. After a brief pause, he complies and calmly turns his head to the woman.

I decided to lengthen my second project rather than starting form scratch. The first 11 frames above are from my second project, and the following 12 are new additions. After the rope snaps, the driver turns around and runs towards the car. He jumps on the hood and gives the steering wheel a quick nudge to make the car spin around. The inertia has him slide along the hood slightly so that both hands are on the same bar. Between camera angles here, the driver makes a lot of progress in getting into the car. In control, he drives away.

Assignment 7:
The story board which I tried to portray is a robot fighting a large monster that is terrifying the city. This animation is going to use a lot of wide camera angles to show the proportional difference from the robot and the monster. Also the use of other objects such as broken buildings and a ray beam are going to help create the animation.

Assignment y
The storyboard i have created shows two people having a very fast-pased fight scene with each other; this storyboard has very fast movements such as punches and kicks as well as characters running to really show fast-pased action.

What inspired me to take this course was a mix of different things. I always enjoy seeing people create amazing pieces of artworks that full you with awe and wonder. The way animators create special effects to make the simplest of things appear majestic. I have chosen an animation called Fog Hill of the five Elements to showcase a few elements that I enjoy about animation. From (2:40-3:00) The used of special effects to represent sound was amazingly done. As well the light colours used to show the impact of each blow. The chorography of the fight was very complicated. Seeing how each character was animation to be realistic to human movements. Not only that but creating techniques to make normal body movement such as running seem super human is something I would enjoy learning. I also enjoy the used of colours, and smoke to represent emotions at (3:16-3:23). Without even seeing the character entire face the audience can feel how vexed the person really is. Lastly, the animation of the surround area I believe is just as important as the character to give full meaning to the scene. The way the characters effect their surrounds represents how strong they are compare to the world around them. These are but a few reasons why I have chosen to learn how to animate.
