Our 1st online class meeting for the subject Fundamentals of Database Systems
At 1st it was awkward but later on the mood felt lighter and lighter as time passed by. We needed to adapt, we needed to be ready because even if we didn’t want to, this is the new normal now amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
This experience is quite overwhelming because this is the 1st time I experienced this kind of classes but I know that after I get used to it and adapt, It’ll definely go smoothly.
And that sums-up my class’s 1st day meeting for online classes.

In our school, before we start a new month, we would all gather and attend a chapel service which is always taken in charged by a section or a class in which a new class is assigned to the next month's service. Our class is to head the service on the 2nd month of this school year. It was a success, no any anomalies or bizarre events happened. All of the students in my school enjoyed the service and the school chaplain's preaching. We all listened and cherished the words of God through the pastor's preachings.

The month of September. My school held its annual Intramurals or Sportsfest. I didn't join any of the sports events but I supported my team, which is the "White Wolves". It was tiring for the players and extremely difficult to win all the games. But our hardwork had paid off and in the end we were the overall champions.

The month of August. The "Buwan ng Wika" celebration was held at my school. I participated in the so called "malikhaing pagsayaw" where me and my classmates and students from the other section danced. Aside from that, I didn't participate in any other competition but I was there to support my classmates that did.

September 20, 2018. A career guidance seminar held at the chapel of my school's main campus. We are supposed to be there before 9 am, but I woke up late so I got there by 10:30 am. The principal didn't let me go in the chapel because I was late. Because of that I can't do one of my teachers assigned work to us. The task is to make a reflection about the said "Career talk" with a minimum of 150 words. Thanks to my school's principal, I can't do it. But if I don't do anything, I would get a failing grade. So instead of the reflection on the said "Career talk", I am now blogging about what I did after the principal sent me home. First, I took a picture at the venue, as you can see above. Second, I went home and then relaxed for a bit. Third, I made/typed this blog and lastly I played DOTA 2.

July 22, 2018, A stormy day. It was just normal up until the storm raged until the rivers overflow, resulting in a massive flashflood affecting whole of Olongapo city, the city where i live. The flood entered our house as shown in the picture. We can only gaze and lift up some of our belongings so that they don't get wet. After that, the power switched off and whole of Olongapo got shrouded by darkness during the night. We could only wait for the flood to lower and for the sun to rise and the return of power in the whole city.

July 20, 2018. Acquaintance party held at my school. The party was "meh" but the after party with my friends was fun. We shared stories while drinking and eating. We all had fun, but one of my friends had too much fun. He got drunk and shared crazy stories about himself and danced outside the streets.
