The bushmeat trade is also an issue because it brings humans and animals together and introduces foreign viruses or vendor i.e. Monkey pox, Covid etc. Cattle in Britain are given specialism viral boosters and food to stop c certain viruses and diseases. Mad Cow disease meant cattle could pass disease to humans and they were burnet on mass. https://www.cdc.gov/prions/cjd/index.html

The face of this character/vendor from Star Wars is quite crab like, he also does not look very trustworthy. The Star Wars franchise seems to have moved back to masks and latex for characters rather than floating CGI.

Bushmeat market & the Trading of wild animals
The vast bush meat market is both good and bad at the same time its good in the sense that is keeps some wildlife down and out of the way but at the same time if done too much it can damage the ecosystem https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8UmDG4i0iU Giant maggots? I would not eat this but in. Nigeria this might be the only food available and that is essentially the bushmeat trade - people make money catching and selling so it is difficult to shut down. I have eaten things like squid, which I like, and I have eaten a raw squid in a Japanese restaurant. But bugs? crocodile and ostrich are sold in England - I would give this a try but not every day. I think bush markets might be high end and locals.

Mina Lima (honey dukes)
Mina Lima is a something relating to Harry Potter, Minraphora lima mina and Eduardo Lima are two skilled prop makers for the wizarding world. I watched Harry Potter a few years ago and really enjoyed it, I a actually noticed things like the chocolate frog wrapper and intricate designs on props but did not know who made them. Someone spent time on every element and carefully creating the world for us to view.

Mos Espa - Tatooine
Mos espa is a place in Tatooine where food is sold/traded and is a big area where things can be found such as the people who farmed and then sold gorgs known as gorgmongers - Star Wars franchise. I have only seen one Star Wars, I liked it but I would prefer Avatar. I really like the connection ton between the world and the people where as Star Wars is just violence in space with good and bad fighting on different planets. https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Mos_Espa_marketplace

Troll Market is a place in Hellboy II where they go to acquire something to eat of magic - it has a range of weird and wonderful food and vendors. I have only seen b its of this film but the market is more colourful than a normal Saturday market. It is colourful and the vendors are alien in appearance but based on earth not space. Black market - the illegal stuff that people still want to buy without being seen.

This did not help me at all, this just made it worse, I went off on my own ideas. These are all very common and simplistic in design for mascots and I ended up merging my mascot with the end poster. I am not as good digitally drawing as these creators and had to treat it differently as a result. The majority of these are aimed at children who then ask their parents to buy them - marketing at its best. A non branded cereal m might taste the same but the box would not be as graphically colourful.

Colour changing food
When advertisers have a chance to change colour then they will, if it looks weird like having red Doritos for when Spiderman went out Doritos pay for the rights to do this. It only works if the brand is really recognisable like Coca Cola because we know it so well.

Good, Bad Food?
Sour apple Frappuccino

This is a very eye catching design, the green makes it stand out from the black-greenish background - this was designed to look horrible as it was designed around halloween and the background suggests spooky and sour to match the title. It only really works because of the recognisable logo of Starbucks. It is still a product that people would buy.

After 6-7 weeks (2 weeks drawing, 3 weeks making, 2 weeks painting) I have finally finish my guy, I still have no idea in what it is called. He is part octopus and part sushi roll with a bit of cuttle fish added in there somewhere - I put it on the base and added sand and heck fleur to add a sea theme to it.

A few weeks ago I posted a picture related to this guy, he is the face of the brand "Kingdom of Jindiao" from the first picture he has significantly improved, I am proud of myself in getting to this stage. Jindiao comes from my own discord user name and means golden eagle (I think) in Chinese. I stole the hands to add in which is why they are in a different style and look rather creepy. The 2 faces on the fires add to this element and contrast with the smiling cow/hybrid in the background. It suggests a creepy element.
