I have noticed that when I scroll through thinspo, the aesthetic is always the same. Yes, we all want to be skinny legends, but not all of us want to wear fishnets under ripped skinny jeans or Adidas and crop tank top. I’m here for the vintage thispo ladies, gents, and non-binary pals. 

Here are some women that are famous for having a small figure;

Audrey Hepburn

I couldn’t do this post without having Audrey Hepburn being at the top of the list. Audrey was an actor, dancer, and fashion icon. She was trained in ballet before appearing as the lead in Roman Holiday (1953). This was the role that made her famous. After this, she made many films such as The Nun’ Story (1959), Breakfast at Tiffany’s (1961), and My Fair Lady (1964). She is in many films throughout the 50′s, 60′s, and 70′s. A simple google search can help you find more movies of hers. There are many pictures of her all over the internet, but here are some.

Next up, Vera Ellen. She was a dancer and actor. She is most known for her role as Judy in White Christmas (1954). She is in a few other films including Three Little Words (1950), and The Belle of New York (1952). She doesn’t have a large film career, but the ones she does have are good.

Next is Vikki Dougan.

She was a model in the 1950′s. While she did appear in around nine films, she only played small roles, some went uncredited. She was most known for wearing backless dresses to social events. She wanted to contrast women with large breasts like Jayne Mansfield. She also appeared in Playboy in the late 1950′s.

Last but not least, Janet Leigh. She is most known for playing Marion Crane in Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho (1960). She appeared in a few films during the 40′s and 50′s. She was also famous for her relationship with Tony Curtis. There are many pictures of them in celebrity magazines in the 50′s until their divorce in 1962. She appeared in a few other films as well, but none as successful as Psycho.

GUYS I have finally reached 62!!! A MILESTONE!

19.9. 138lbs

I fasted 2 x for 24 hours on the weekend and the scales went up. Yesterday I had a big lunch with fries and bread and wine in the evening and the scales went down. I don‘t understand this. BUT I think the weight loss is still from fasting, because logically - cal intake counts, right?

I‘m so happy. Now onwards!

I know for most of you that is nothing, but I‘m so proud! I‘ve never done it before. It‘s like I wrestled with my hunger and my weakness and defeated both.
