May 31 2016 - Collin Kennedy, who is a cancer patient, used expanding spray foam to disable a parking meter at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg where he gets his treatment. He says the fees are a tax on the sick. [video]

I used to have relatives in Norway. After WWII they didn't write back to us anymore.

Definitely don't recommend wearing dark-colored clothing until it's not raw anymore, or all the fuzz stuck in it will be really visible.
My body is leaking. I am strongly of the opinion that the human body should not leak.
(When it started being noticeable and thus a problem, I did think "bet you wouldn't be leaking if you were still masking" and laughed to myself.)
Gross medical details under the cut....
I've been trying Clonidine as a medication for emotional regulation in ADHD, and I didn't initially have an allergic reaction to the XR patch, but when we raised the dose I started getting skin irritation under the patch and when we dropped the dosage again it persisted and then got worse. I only wore the 7-day patch two days before I had to take it off, and despite cleaning and medicating the site, the skin under it blistered and then split before I noticed because it was on the outside of my shoulder which is not a place I look at much. It's been leaking for the three days since.
I've been covering it with a gauze pad and securing the pad with a large wound dressing that seals all the way around, but overnight the leak got the better of the dressing and I woke up when it started getting my pillowcase and the tank top I was wearing to bed wet. Which is why I'm posting this at 2am while I wait to feel sleepy again.
I have extra-absorbent bandages coming this morning in the mail, and the wound itself is fine -- it's pink and healing and I apply hydrocortisone cream whenever I change the dressing. The "exudate" (fun vocab word of the day) is clear, as it should be. There's no infection, just an overactive histamine reaction. There's not even a smell. It's just gross and wet.
Cannot recommend springing a leak, it is neither fun nor convenient.

im a bit of a pointless hater about certain usages of the term “monsterfucker” bc i think it’s often one of those things people say but don’t believe with their whole chest. like if all the “monsters” you like are vampires and similar mopey human-looking folks it’s possible you are actually just into goths. Let’s not dilute the beautiful world of teratophilia for our bloodborne sex soldiers out there fucking and sucking in yharnam or whatever. Anyone on earth would fuck a vampire. that’s vanilla

Occasionally as an Australian you'll be talking to someone from overseas, and you'll discover a common phrase you took for granted is, in fact, not universally known outside of our country.
Turns out casually dropping "fuck me dead" into conversation will give unsuspecting Americans an aneurism.
The more you know.
