A conversation

I wanted to draw this conversation since Valentine 😤 I literally wrote it down that day but I wanted to draw all that happens in between before to finally do it 😩

This is longer than usual, sorry for not painting it Here I wanted to show the uncertainty and acceptance that Grace has for her situation, although, keep in mind that even though she says and thinks that way, she doesn't really feel that Zuzu hates her, but rationally, she has all the reasons for doing so, you know? So she remains very open to the idea of Zuzu's rejection, she thinks it would be spected, but she doesn't know how MUCH Zuzu adores her

Indeed, Zuzu is now able to show affection, and she has overcome her internal crisis and can now act as she would like with Grace ...However, Grace is a whole world of her own. Just because Zuzu now shows affection, doesn't mean she'll be accepted (the way she wants) by Grace. In fact, Grace didn't even knew she liked Zuzu this much until recently.

How Zuzu Forgave

Maybe it is not very clear, but Lil Gracey means it literally, it is Sarah's heart that is there after all.

I have so many things to say about this one, so bear with me 🤧

There's a lot of emotions inside Zuzu that let me experiment with their reactions in previous comics. Zuzu was deeply hurt, resentful, and shocked by Sarah's death. Sarah was his favorite person, the best of all! And she was taken away, along with her own body, in a cruel act by Grace. She struggled to fit into her new life, her new body, and her new role as a mother. She blamed Grace, despise her... Until she couldn't help but love her. At the end, it was their daughter who helped Zuzu find a sense of belonging again, to forgive Grace, and to let go of the guilt she felt in doing so.
