Sri Lanka, Netherlands Are Through To Super 12
Sri Lanka and the Netherlands have advanced to the ICC T20 World Cup Super 12 round. Sri Lanka defeated the Netherlands by 16 runs and qualified directly, whereas the Netherlands relied on the result of the match between the UAE and Namibia. UAE defeated Namibia by 7 runs to claim their first T20 World Cup victory, allowing the Netherlands to advance to the Super 12 stage.
Sri Lanka VS Netherlands Match Report:-
The Netherlands spinners got off to a fantastic start with the ball in the powerplay. The wicket had a lot of grip and turn, making it difficult for Sri Lanka's opening pair to make runs. Sri Lanka hit 14 runs in the final over and concluded the powerplay at 36/0.
Paul van Meekeren removed Nissanka with a 146 kmph yorker and then dismissed Dhananjaya de Silva with the following ball. Sri Lanka were 60/2 after 10 overs, but Mendis and Asalanka put on a partnership that pushed them to 96/2 in 14 overs. Bas de Leede got Asalanka out, but Sri Lanka scored 13 runs in his over. Sri Lanka scored 24 runs in the final two overs. Mendis' 79 from 44 deliveries led Sri Lanka to 162 runs in 20 overs.
The Netherlands struggled with the bat as well, with Theekshana and Lahiru Kumara striking in the powerplay. After the powerplay, Netherlands were 40/2. Hasaranga struck in his first over, making things worse for the Netherlands. The Netherlands were losing wickets regularly, but Max ODowd kept them in the match. He scored 15 and 16 runs in the 18th and 19th overs, respectively. With 23 needed in the final over, ODowd only managed to score six runs, and the Netherlands lost the match by 16 runs.
Namibia VS UAE Match Report:-
UAE defeated Namibia by 7 runs to claim their first-ever T20 World Cup win. UAE appeared to be on their way to victory when Namibia were 69 for 7 at one point, but David Wiese's 55 runs in 36 balls pushed the match to the final over, and Muhammad Waseem held his nerve to get his team over the line.
Batting first, UAE made a slow start, scoring 30 runs in the powerplay. Bernard Scholtz's wicket of Arvind in the ninth over provided his team its first breakthrough. In the tenth over, Muhammad Waseem shifted gears and hammered Jan Frylinck for a six and a four. Waseem was dismissed in the 15th over after reaching his half-century. UAE were 113/3 after the 17th over, but they scored 33 runs in the final two overs to set a target of 148 runs.
While chasing the target, Namibia also struggled with the bat. After the powerplay, they were 34/3, and they lost two more wickets in the eighth over. In the 13th over, Zahoor Khan dismissed Jan Frylinck and Zane Green. David Wiese and Ruben Trumpelmann put the pressure back on the UAE bowlers, scoring 70 runs in 42 balls. Nambia fell 7 runs short of the target in the last over, knocking them out of the tournament and allowing the Netherlands to progress to the Super 12s.

Campher And Dockrell Kept Ireland In The Super 12 Race
Ireland defeated Scotland by six wickets in Hobart on Wednesday, keeping their Super 12s hopes alive. Michael Jones' first-ever T20 half-century helped Scotland in posting a score of 176/5. However, a 119-run partnership between Campher and Dockrell helped Ireland to win the match.
Jones, Cross 59 run stand
Scotland's innings didn't get off to a good start as Mark Adair removed George Munsey at the start of the game. While Michael Jones was having trouble early in his inning, Matthew Cross kept adding runs from one end. In the third over, he hit three boundaries against Barry McCarthy. After the powerplay, Scotland was 39/1. Again taking McCarthy on, both batters hit a six and a boundary to assist their team over the 50-run mark.  Curtis Campher got the wicket of Cross on 28 runs.
Jones, Berrington power Scotland to 176
Jones took his time in the middle, but after the powerplay he began attacking Ireland's bowlers. In the 11th over, Jones pulled Joshua Little for a huge six. In the 13th over, Berrington smacked McCarthy for a boundary and a six. In the 16th over, after scoring his first T20 half-century, Jones whacked Gareth Delany for a six and a four. Campher got the wicket of Berrington on 37 runs. McCarthy conceded 59 runs in his 4 overs as he was smacked for 19 runs in his final over by Jones and Leask.
Scotland strikes with early wickets
Ireland lost both their experienced openers cheaply.  Balbirnie was dismissed by Brad Wheal on 14 runs, and Paul Stirling was removed by Safyaan Sharif on 8 runs. After the powerplay, Ireland was 37/2. Ireland lost two back-to-back wickets of Lorcan Tucker and Harry Tector.
Campher, Dockrell partnership
Ireland was 65/4 after 10 overs and struggling in the chase, but a 119-run partnership between Dockrell and Campher helped them to win the game. The counterattack began in the 13th over, when Mark Watt was taken for 18 runs. Following that, both batters hit Brad Wheal and scored 14 runs from the 15th over. With 52 required in the final five overs, Josh Davey was smashed for 17 runs in the 16th over. With 12 runs left in the final two overs, Campher struck three consecutive boundaries to help Ireland reach the target with one over remaining. Curtis Campher scored 72 runs in 32 balls, while George Dockrell scored 39 runs in 27 balls.

India Beat Australia By 6 Runs In Their 1st Warm-Up Game
India provided a sublime touch to their World Cup campaign as they beat the hosts Australia by just 6 runs in a nail bitting thriller. The new addition to the Indian squad Mohammad Shami was called out of nowhere to bowl a heroic last over.
Australia elected to bowl first after winning the toss and looked clueless towards the fiery Indian start inside the powerplay. KL Rahul started the innings with a bang and looked in sublime touch as he displayed some immense power hitting.
India lost 1st wicket in the 8th over after a 78-run opening stand as Rahul departed for 57 runs in 33 balls. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli made little contributions of 15 runs and 19 runs respectively before getting dismissed.
Suryakumar Yadav once again proved to be the savior of the Indian middle order as he scored yet another half-century at the crucial juncture. Hardik Pandya only managed to score 2 runs with Dinesh Karthik getting 20 runs off 14 balls and was dismissed by Kane Richardson in the 17th over.
Suryakumar Yadav was dismissed in the last over as the men in blue posted a total of 186/7 in their 20 overs. Richardson was excellent as he took 4 wickets in his 4 overs with Mitchell Starc, Glenn Maxwell, and Ashton Agar getting a single wicket each.
Chasing the target, the Aussies were exceptional with the bat as openers provided a quick fiery start inside the powerplay. India got Mitchell Marsh in the 5th over who smashed 35 runs in just 18 balls but was dismissed by Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
Aaron Finch was looking unstoppable as he was playing shots all around the park and went on to score his half-century. Steve Smith was dismissed cheaply with Glenn Maxwell getting quick 23 runs but was undone by Bhuvneshwar in the 16th over.
India then put brakes on the run rate and kept getting wickets at regular intervals. Finch was dismissed by a brilliant slower one from Harshal Patel for well-made 76 runs in the 19th over.
Tim David and Pat Cummins became victims of some remarkable fielding by the former Indian skipper Virat Kohli who changed the game in no time. With 11 needed in the last over, Rohit handed over the ball to Shami, and the pacer well and truly proved his captain's decision a master stroke.
India got 4 wickets in the last 4 balls of the match as Australia fell 6 runs short in their first warm-up match at the Gabba. India will be pleased with the bowling performance in the later half of the Aussie innings especially Shami who might have cemented his place in the starting eleven.
