* IT’S THE LIGHT.

for @247nara.

the sun shines through the front windows of mirageu, its rays dancing over the assortment of flora placed around the shop. it smells strongly of flowers, as it should. when she first began working here, seona thought it was pungent, overpowering, and just not pleasant on the nose.

two years later and she still feels the same.

crouched down on the floor, she takes her time tending to the lilac hyacinths. fragrant, they are, but they still were her second favourite in the entire shop. the baby’s breath comes first. delicate and so quick to die, she often kept some in her strung up in her room.

the bell by the door rings, signalling someone entering the store. seona glances up, sunlight hitting her face, and nods at the pair who entered the shop. “good afternoon.” she greets the grandfather and granddaughter pair with a curt nod, resuming her task afterwards. 

she preferred to avoid nagging the customers about what they’re looking for and what could suit their tastes, only interacting with them if she had to.

some bosses may call her cold and unapproachable, but seona merely sees it as common courtesy.
