Hear me out, Grey with Anxiety (projecting) and Carmine helps calm him down.

When he has a panic attack Carmine just, pulls him into a hug and rocks so it helps ground Grey and I’m going to explode into a thousand pieces they are so.

Carmine ain’t catching Pokémon anymore Pokémon anymore they’re just catching brother figures/silly.

Hear me out, Grey and Amusia would be friends because Grey would be empathetic towards Amusia and Amusia would finally have a friend who understands them and AAAAA

One's a puppet of a ghost, the other's a puppet of the game player. Just adopts this random kid and becomes his big brother or smthn :3

glitchy's been used to it for years, and carmine is either still one or getting over it (idk the state of carmine canonically i just like to imagine GHOST picks random victims to puppeteer for a while and when it gets bored it either a. kills them or b. throws them out and leaves them traumatized for life) and lullaby glitchys like "hey kid, first time?" and carmines just like eueueueeuemfufue 🥹🥹🥹🥹becauses bro would probably be frightened and intimidated by glitchy's presence (hes probably pretty dang tall!)

Man, Carmine 100% needs some sort of comfort. Even if they might or might not be a ghost I can imagine being puppeteered around with strings still hurts even after all of this time. (I notice in the sprites too he seems to be twitching. Poor dude :(()

Also Grey too! I think being in the game and not being able to return home would be..quite frankly a horrible experience. I can imagine that’s the reason for his panic in the songs (at least before Shinto decides to do a little trolling/silly)

Their friendship/relationship/whatever u hc it to be, would actually be really sweet. Like, something familiar when everything else feels wrong, or off.

projecting sorry but i hc grey to be a like. very panicky and anxious individual who probably has a bad stutter or something like that and i hc carmine to be around the same vein as that (i havent quite formed a bajillion headcanons for carmine yet i only learned he existed like a week and a half ago SLASH SILLY)

i think grey and carmine would be besties and/or partners! while i (personally) ship them, i view it as like either platonic or romantic since i think they could go either ways :3 and estentially i imagine them as like autism to autism communication /silly and endearing

both are very trauma ridden id imagine since technically grey canonically died.. again after the events of shitno and carmine's whole being a puppet to GHOST thing so that's one thing they'd probably bond over :P

What if he had a fiery blue color scheme when he’s a ghost? Since, Miki was a fire type and blue is often said to be the hottest (pun NOT intended) fire color? It could also be that even after he got snapped out of existence he still grieves over what could’ve been.

Although, I think he’d also be angry considering Steven DID just do some funny chiropractor stuff. it’s like a mixture of grief but also knowing what’s done is done.

Now I’m thinking about Ghost Mike just petting Miki solemnly on the rare, rare chance Steven lets himself sleep.

post Mike Incident steven probably has an awful time sleeping like ever since he probably has really bad sleep paralysis and/or reoccurring nightmares of what happened to mike and miki so when mikis just sitting there either out of her ball or in her ball post mike incident staring at steven in agony in sleep like :( id imagine mike's ghost sometimes sits with him while hes having like the worst time of his life all over again and like. even if steven cant see or feel what hes doing or saying, trying to comfort him and sit with him until he calms down

this would probably leave steven waking up in the morning wondering how he, oddly enough, slept a bit better than usual

THIS is my dearly beloved blaziken named BOO.BOO (case sensitive) he came allllll the way from my mom's copy of pokemon ruby (and save when it still existed)(hence the OT to NEVEN) he probably has terrible evs and stats but i still love him <3 technically he was my mom's pokemon by all means but i think i named him when i was like. idek like 4 or 5 (hes currently trapped in alpha sapphire since hoenn)

AND THIS!!!! is minipete (pronounced may-pit) i got him from a npc trade in my copy of pokemon white aka like my 2nd/3rd pokemon game ever minipete was a real one and i used him in like every battle ever and he was the first pokemon i ever trained to level 100 without like rare candies or grinding for no reason or hacks (hes currently still trapped on ultra moon since i dont have pokemon home)

before the og nintendo wfc shut down i remember using him on online battles (and getting my ass kicked because i was stupid and didnt know competitive pokemon) :P

I can imagine sometimes he’d fly around with Miki sometimes, he probably stopped doing it for a long time after the incident but I can imagine he still looks at the sky at night and reminisces. But I can imagine he’s very independent, even before the incident (bro became champion when he was young, bruh these leagues gotta have DOL/silly/j) so, I think he’s occasionally wander around, even if it’s just in the woods.

on the league thing id imagine within the context of both the pasta and just canon pokemon in general when someone wins the league they don't become like. THE champion and instead get registered as like a champion in the hall of fame and stuff unless they were an exceptional trainer or something and knew how to do taxes :P

THAT ASIDE i fully agree i think steven would be independent before and after the incident and likes to wander around the region with miki even post accident, just out of view of civilization probably since id imagine he hates people

Steven and Miki used to make campfires, mainly Steven scrounging up some sticks and Miki torching them to practically ash but. Hey! It works.

Burnt marshmallows too, 100% I think Steven would burn marshmallows into “literal” charcoal and he thinks they taste good.

THATS SO SWEET???? i really really really adore the idea of steven and miki just out camping together cause like

i imagine steven as a solitary person or just someone who prefers to keep to himself (save few for like, maybe daisy or mike or a few of his friends at a time) rather than be like in big groups of people or something like that right so id like to imagine he just goes off into surprise camping trips (or maybe that'd just be the norm in the pokemon world since travelling and going on epic adventures at the prime age of like 10 is the norm there /silly) out into the wild around kanto and stuff, maybe even in different regions but i think that'd be a stretch unless you count post miki incident steven cause id imagine he would HATE staying in kanto
