Extremely anxious overthinker, in a way that most people read as mean and aloof TT_TT. I curse like a sailor and reblog lots of NSFW stuff, it's on you if you follow me and don't like that shit. I've been on the hellsite (affectionate) since the launch of the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter; this blog is curated for my enjoyment, and if you like it too, well, that's cool for you.

my balcony blocks my view of the playground, but I heard one child yell "I FOUND A FROG" with a great deal of excitement and now there is screaming, so I'm filling in some blanks

sometimes you reblog something because you personally want it on your blog. and some other times you reblog something as if you were scattering bird feed on ur porch and hiding behind the window to look out for the beautiful bird (beloved mutual) who will no doubt come peck at it

self isolating to cope is great until you look up one day and years have passed and you realise no one knew you when you were 18 or 19 or 20 or 21 and now they never will

I can’t believe Sam said people shouldn’t go on Dropout’s social media until they’ve watched the episode, I 1000% think people should go on the social media with absolutely no context

timkon at a theme park in metropolis. what crimes will they commit? (happy wip wednesday tuesday! kon is normal about and definitely does not have any trauma related to roller coasters btw.)
They take goofy selfies with the statue of Steel that Kon sends to Natasha immediately, browse through the trophy room to giggle about the replicas of all sorts of supervillain gear or old hero stuff, and laugh as they watch a group of kids take turns trying to lift “Steel’s” hammer, which is attached to the ground. It’s odd, acting like civilians who haven’t met any of these people personally, but it’s fun, too, looking at Kon next to the statue of Superman. Even with his civilian disguise, Tim can see the resemblance.
Of course, Kon is the most beautiful man in the world, and even Superman-as-a-statue can’t hold a candle next to him, but hey. Tim’s not biased or anything.
“They have replica Green Lantern rings in the gift shop,” Kon says, peering at (and, presumably, through) a wall. “D’you think we could scare Bruce if we pretended you got one?”
Tim snorts loudly at the thought. “Forget me; I think we should get one for Dick. Or for Cass. She’s stubborn enough I could see a cosmic entity or whatever acknowledging her willpower. That’d put B through the roof.”
Kon laughs. “Fair point. I wish it was that easy to prank Clark, but—”
A coaster train full of screaming riders whooshes through the cut-out corner of the building, drowning out whatever Kon was going to say. Kon, startled, cuts himself off with a yip as he leaps a full foot into the air, his eyes big and round like saucers.
Tim yanks him back down to the ground, laughing. He’s like an overgrown cat! “Get jumpscared easily, much?” he teases, running his thumb over Kon’s knuckles. “I thought you’d have heard it coming.”
Kon’s shoulders have hiked up almost to his ears, but they relax again as he straightens himself out, gives Tim a dour look, and huffs. “I wasn’t paying attention! ‘Sides, I’m just used to people screaming meaning… you know,” and he flaps a hand at the replica trophy room.
Tim quirks a smile up at him. “I know.” Feeling bold, he leans up on his toes and brushes a quick peck to Kon’s cheek. “Still kinda cute of you, though.”
Kon ducks his head, his cheeks darkening. He scuffs his foot against the ground, clears his throat, and flicks a glance at Tim, clearly searching for words; finding none, he huffs again and simply bumps his forehead against Tim’s temple. “Jerk.”
Fondness blooms through Tim’s chest, a warm, giddy feeling. He grins. “Guilty as charged. So, you wanna check out the gift shop? Or do you wanna go ride the Superman coaster?”
Kon’s entire face scrunches up as though he’s just bitten into a lemon. “I am not getting on that thing,” he says, looking away.
Now that’s a surprise. Tim’s eyebrows rise. “What, you’re that bitter about getting jumpscared?”
Kon elbows him in the ribs, huffing again. “No! I just—why would I wanna ride a roller coaster?” He drops Tim’s hand to fold his arms over his chest, and Tim tries to ignore the pang of longing in his chest. “I can—you know—I can do way more fun things than that anytime I wanna, so…”
Roller coasters probably would seem boring to a guy who can fly, Tim concedes. He’s seen Kon with the zoomies when he’s excited, laughing and looping through the clouds—Kon’s held him and pulled him along, zooming through corkscrews and falling backwards into big, lazy spins. It’s definitely more thrilling than any thrill ride.
Tim doesn’t think that’s the only thing, though. Kon isn’t quite looking at him, and his face is still flushed—it could just be embarrassment from the teasing, or his flusteredness about Tim kissing him, but Tim’s gut says there’s more to it.
Interesting. Tim studies the jut of his jaw and the press of his lips. Kon isn’t saying everything on his mind.
But there is a fun point to roller coasters, and maybe discussing it will tease whatever Kon’s hiding out into the light, so Tim persists:
“You don’t have to do anything when it’s a coaster.” He tucks his hand into the crook of Kon’s elbow to tug him through the crowd towards the gift shop. “You’re just along for the ride. And it’s, like—don’t you love the machinery of it all? The rumble of the friction where the cart sits on the tracks, or the calculations that go into making sure each curve provides enough G’s to be exciting but not enough to be dangerous? It’s about the engineering, Conner!”
Something in Kon’s face softens as he looks down at Tim, even though he rolls his eyes. “Jeez. Anyone ever tell you you’re a major gearhead, Rob?”

Free Manual Wheelchair Reference Models (Version 2)
Tumblr media
ID: A 3D render of 5 brightly coloured manual wheelchairs in front of a disability pride flag. White text overlaid on the image reads "Manual Wheelchair Models" "Version 2". /End ID
I've updated the wheelchair models I released for last year's Disability pride month to include adjustable shaders/materials that carry over into programs like Clip Studio Paint for folks who just want to use them as reference, and (what I hope is) a clearer guide on how to use, import/export and make alterations to them!
Each chair is designed to suit different kinds of characters with different disabilities and lifestyles. The chairs available right now are:
2 Active urban-style chairs (one of which includes a rear-mounted power assist)
1 off-road active chair
1 children's wheelchair
and 1 standard "hospital" wheelchair.
and I'm planning to add 2 more by the end of disability pride month (2025)
You can download them for free On Ko-Fi!
Or you can download the pack directly from Google Drive
included in each download is:
the original .blend file for each wheelchair model
an .obj and .mtl file for each chair that can be imported into other 3D modelling software or into some art programs like Clip Studio Paint
A link to a user's manual that explains how to make alterations to the files for those less familiar with Blender, and how to import and save them to your Clip Studio Paint Asset/Material library on both desktop and ipad versions of CSP.
I would really like to keep updating these files and eventually include rigs for each (one of these was rigged previously, but I'm not sure what happened, it seems to have broken after one of the Blender updates)
Just like last time, they're completely free to use, with the caveat that they can't be resold or used in AI training. Credit isn't required but is greatly appreciated (as are tags so I can see art that used them!)
