in the same sort of asets you can have a very difnt game charts like in super meat boy

super meat boy is a platformer but wile the movement mechanics may be different from a game like castle crashers and minit as bot have very different game style. castle crashers is very different form super meat boy as it is a side scaling beat them up

health system
there are many different types of health system

like in most modern Kirby games it usually has a health bar which some times is't the most accurate way to show health but another way to show health is with numbers like in the half-life games

I have decided do a mist like a spirit because i was struggling to animate the legs so I decided to do the mist instead not only is it easier but also helps with the idea of them representing death as before while before it just looked like a dog with bones so adding the mist gives that feeling of death or dead
note: it looks like insides leaking out in the game so in future projects I need to be more carful with color

hud in different games
there are many different kinds of huds with many different ways of presenting them selves like in most side scowlers like mine you it just flotes at the top or the bottom of the screen

as you can see in the original super Mario has all of the info at the top of the screen and many side scrawlers and other genre of games will take after this form but it is not the only type of hud.
one of the other types of hud is a part of the game with examples such as dead space 2 where the hud is apart of the game

this can help with emersion and realism to the game and make the game look more real like in dead space even the menus are holograms created by Isaac in the game which again adds to the realism because it not only shows us but also shows Isaac how much ammo he has

i might change a few platform's structure and i still need to add more detail and fix mistakes in the tile map and ad the hieroglyphs but the functionality of the map is done

fixed visual issue

before when you spand the character it would be invisible until you moved but with the addition of the 'add movement input' this will as soon as the game loads and starts it will move the character making the modal visible

i included this qr code as a personal addion as i love history so i love to research little structures like temples which brought me to the temple of Hathor in the Dendera Temple Complex which has a archaeology which obscures the truth but the vido that the qr code is linked to dose an amassing job at explaining what it is.

the reason I have chosen to do this as my enemy is because it is based of the African golden wolf/jackal which with the Egyptian god named Anubis has the head one. which is why I chose it as they have a heavy affiliation with death as thy would eat the dead body of humans and even eat mummies which lead in to the story of the creation of Anubis.

I accidentally exported this sprite without increasing the size but I'm going to leave this in not only as an example but also because this is very funny
Edit: I'm having more issues animating the legs for the walking animation (I struggle to animate legs) I might need to get help from someone with this one. also I have flipped the direction of the sprite.
