I'm Canadian and have zero ancestry from that area of the world, so this theory is kaput. Why would an American site have any hand in that anyways? Anon, this is fearmongering.

I really hope the account culling has nothing to do with the Ukraine/Russian war :( I think I saw in a couple other communities accounts being deleted randomly and the common factor was they were Ukrainian or Russian.

I hope that's not the case but would not surprise me. That would be very, very dumb on tumblr's part.

Sorry if the formatting of this post is a mess but I’m using an unofficial Tumblr client to post this: Since SEVERAL simblrs have been deleted and @staff @support aren’t replying to requests for explinations- I’d encourage. No BEG you to PLEASE export your blog for backup as soon as possible. You’ll find the option to do so in your settings. Sorry for posting lots of “Signal boost!” posts lately, but please signal boost if you’re a simblr.
