Has anyone else noticed that Stolas refuses to respect Octavia's boundaries in Sinmas?

After the initial hug she pushes him away, and yet he keeps trying to touch her throughout her whole callout.

Everytime he tries to grab at her she backs away from him.

Then when he finally gets her hand she has to violently jerk it out of his grasp.

It gets to the point that she even has to put ice walls up so he can stop following and trying to touch her after she put her foot down that their done.

Her body language throughout this whole thing is Don't Touch Me, and yet he keeps trying too until she has to get borderline violent at the end.

It seems like Blitz is not the only one that has their negative verbal and physical language toward Stolas ignored.

Where the hell is this guy? And what was the point of him being with Stolas in Apology Tour?? What was the point of him existing at all???

I mean, like, what was the point of him? He never shows up again, even though it was somewhat implied he would have some sort of impact on the story of characters, at least on Stolitz. Honestly, I think he was only put in so: 1) Stolitz shippers could have some good ol' shitty forced angst; and 2) So people could have a scapegoat to rag on, taking the attention away from the rest of the relationship bullshit in the last 2 episodes, therefore distracting people from analyzing Stolitz.

For a long time, I was confused by the fact that Stolas, knowing how abusive his wife is, quite calmly lets Octavia see her.

And then, when he found out that Stella had hired a hitman to kill him, he didn't discuss it with his daughter (and didn't make this fact public at all, although it was very necessary. Like, seriously, who stopped him from saying at the trial that Stella tried to kill him?).

Like, you stupid owl, don't you realize that by not telling your daughter about how dangerous her mother is, you're putting her (Octavia) in danger? After all, if Octavia doesn't know that Stella can harm her, that makes her (Octavia) a very easy target.

And again, an example of what a «good» father Stolass is.

Well we all now know the news.

HB is now coming to Prime and there will be half assed cross overs with HH.

In laymen terms:

Viv sold out the title of HB to Prime to get more money since HH is obviously not making her enough dough anymore given people have common sense and see that the show is complete ass and non con fetish fuel.

She says HB is still going to be on YT and that's dandy and all but she still did exactly what she did with HH and sold the title and likely merch rights to fucking AMAZON.

Then had the balls to say

after lowkey telling everyone she's working her animators to the bone (with barely any pay) given season 3 and 4 are in the works.

People will try to compare this to TADC being on Netflix and YT but don't forget the creator still owns ALL rights to TADC; Netflix is just there to stream it.

Meanwhile Viv sold out and still has the nerve to say what SHE did is a big move for the indie animation community.

Her ego is so damn overinflated it's a shock she hasn't took flight and hit Saturn yet.

What if you did a short story where Raya works with Bethany to investigate a hotel only to run into Rolando? As Raya is subjected to torment, Glitzandra and Glamantha rush in just in time and end up giving Rolando a taste of his own medicine.

I’m procrastinating on redoing Ghostfxxkers, but I think this could also work!

Raya meets Bethany, a struggling adult film actress who feels like she’s run her course. For one last hurrah, they decide to investigate a haunted hotel, as Bethany believes an actual demonic spirit haunts the place. They get inside poorly disguised as housekeepers, and then everything goes down the drain when the two blondes are separated.

Raya is captured by Rolando, who attempts to torment her in her mind theater. Unfortunately, she’s pretty much immune to his manipulation (she doesn’t GAF). However, when the stick-figure built fish guy makes an off-handed, unscripted comment about her build…….

Yeah.

She snaps.

And she didn’t need to fall back on her girlfriends for this one!

Bethany offers to exorcise him, but Raya is already beating him to a pulp. After Rolando is defeated, the hotel crumbles. Our heroines make it outside, and in the wake of the traumatic experience, Bethany retires, to which Raya believes is for the best. They quiiiietly go their separate ways. The end :3

RHADAMANTHUS AND THE CERBERUS

The heads of the Underworldian court.

Rhadamanthus is the head judge of the court. She oversees major cases within the Underworld’s seven circles (except for the eighth/Limbo circle). She is cold yet just, believing that all who enter the courtroom, whether or not they have been heard yet, will have justice brought to them. The murals on the wall are a bit outdated, as they portray her predecessor and the previous judge of the court (who also happened to share her name with him).

Rhada is a stone woman made from the minerals from Heaven; her hair is sculpted marble, her body paved with the same stone that is paved in Heaven’s roads, and the gold in her eyes (and within the markings running down her eyes) being made from the same gold that sculpted the gates. She carries a silver scale and an obsidian gavel with her no matter the occasion.

Her companion is the Cerberus, a giant three-headed dog sculpted of clay from Hell. He has three heads, each sculpted with a different personality: a happy head that reflects the typical adorable and jovial traits within a dog, a sad head that lets out a huge sigh as if it bears all the weights of the world (you know the one), and an angry head that will bite anyone in half if provoked. The angry head is most prominent during trials, in which the Cerberus guards the door to prevent anyone from leaving, as well as to put extremely cocky participants in their place. The happy head is only active in private.

Together, these two administer justice, hear cases from the Underworldians and Imps, and make sure they all get what they deserve. They’ve never had a case they couldn’t handle…

Until Stolas happened.

I wrote them to take Satan’s place in my take on Mastermind! Rhada and Cerberus were heavily inspired by Invidia and Veritas, two spooky wrestlers I know

Hi. And listen. I wanted to say thank you for listening to my response. But listen. I had this idea for a while and I don't know if this is something you want for your AU characters. I remember reading a post where Glitz and Glam were compared to Infestor Demons like Rolando with some their powers being similar to his. So it got me thinking what if Glitz and Glam were actually Infestor demons instead of Fish demons in your AU? for example, you could have Glitz and Glam use their powers to either torment anyone who tries to threaten Raya or if Raya is having any bad thought about herself, the twins would try to use their abilities to comfort her.

I had a two thing I want to say about Raya and the Twins Glitz and Glam. What would be Their Interaction Head canons as far as their relationship goes? I would Imagine the twins arguing every now and again over what they decide to do for their dates with Raya. and One bonus question and this may be a crazy one. But how do you think it would Play out if Glitz and Glam from your AU met with Canon! Glitz and Glam? I would imagine the Canon! Twins dissing the AU Twins Partner leading to insults and possibly injury.

OKAYYY you're gonna need to sit down for this because there is A LOT that'll go down. (also, I am still rewriting HB! I'm just taking a break for now bc I'm pretty overwhelmed with a lot of things going on in life lol)

The Bloodthirsty Risen (I.M.P. in my rewrite) are summoned to the Underworldian court for jury duty. They are set to oversee a case conducted by Andrealphus and Vassago, and judged by Rhadamanthus. Andrealphus, with Stella and Octavia in his corner, claims that Stolas had coerced Blitz into keeping the Grimmoire under the now-defunct full moon deal. Vassago tries to defend Stolas, but it proves to be increasingly difficult as the evidence piles up. When Blitz speaks up and presents his view on the case, Vassago uncharacteristically snaps.

The Seven Deadly Sins (who are also present as members of the jury) are mortified that the usually composed Vassago had an outburst like that. Riots against the SDS and the Ars Goetia of the Underworld start to break out in the Underworld as the trial goes on. Vassago then falls unconscious, revealing that he was but an earpiece for Stolas. Stolas then makes the whole trial about him, claiming that he is the mastermind behind everything. Rather than have everything go his way (like in the canon episode), the jury and those who are watching the broadcast are horrified (and also annoyed that he would think that THIS is the best time to put on a musical number. also Blitz doesn't join Stolas so WOOHOO second hand embarrassment for the owl prince!)

Before Stolas can reach out for Blitz, Raya bursts in and presents evidence that Stolas isn't what he claims to be. Stolas initially berates the human, but relents and sheds his skin. To the horror of the Underworld, it is revealed that Stolas had been deceased this whole time, and the Goetian marquis Andras had been wearing his skin to parade around the Underworld like a mindless man-child puppet. Rhadamanthus starts to sentence Andras, listing all of his crimes for the Underworld to see and hear. But before she can proceed, Andras requests a few minutes to say goodbye to his family.

EXCEPT HE DOESN'T because he kidnaps Blitz, knocks down everyone else, and flees the scene. The Underworld falls into chaos as Andras finally gets his happy ending at the expense of several disastrous earthquakes destroying the circles in the Underworld and strings made of stardust strangling most of the residents (and making them act like their canon iterations). It's over. Andras won, he has his shining knight Blitzy by his side, and he finally got EVERYTHING he wanted...

Or is it?

So tldr, I gave this episode a MAJOR overhaul, which would then lead into a huge climactic rescue and battle for Blitz, Octavia, and the Underworld. Thanks for shooting the ask!

--Background--

Life: There's not a lot of canon to go off of here, yet. So I'll keep my theorizing to a minimum. First, I think she's a sinner, not hellborn. She died in the 1910s, probably somewhere in the range of 40-60 years old. I'm keeping my options open.

There's two ways this could go: Either she was a cannibal because she was a freak, or she was in a bad situation and resorted to cannibalism but died anyway. And hell cursed her with cannibalistic cravings that she just embraced. I don't care which.

Afterlife: Rosie is not a particularly powerful overlord by herself, but she still dangerous. She's tuned into the rumor mill and hears about almost everything that's going on, looking for opportunities to make deals. She carries a friendly demeanor, but is not to be trusted. She will help people with their problems, for a price(like Ursula from the Little Mermaid). If they can't pay right now, she'll accept temporary ownership of a soul until their debts are paid. But the debt might just take an eternity to pay off while she dangles freedom just out of reach.

Her most loyal souls are the cannibals. She's the leader of Cannibal Town, and the cannibals willingly sold their souls to her and she treats them with more respect than most of her other souls. If you mess with any of the cannibals, you incur the wrath of them all.

While she is not strictly powerful, it is a bad idea to underestimate her. Between her deceptively unassuming demeanor, her knack for collecting gossip, her loyal cannibals, and her powerful alliances(Alastor in particular), she can be a very dangerous enemy.

--Design Notes--

Dress: Her canon outfit was definitely giving Edwardian vibes. So it made sense when I heard that she was inspired by "Hello Dolly". The Edwardian period spans approximately from the 1890s-1910s, right between Victorian and Roaring 20s. Based on her S-curve silhouette, Rosie's fashion seems most in line with the mid-Edwardian trends. Early in the era, volume carried over from the Victorians, but slimmed down by the end, then led into the 20s.

But I was having trouble understanding the construction of her outfit, so I just wanted to make sense of it. There's nothing egregiously wrong with her canon outfit, I basically just wanted to tweak it a little to suit my preferences a little better.

Hat: Hats got very elaborate. Apparently it was popular to have a stuffed bird as decoration. Which I think Rosie would like, but I don't want to draw that. While the skull in canon also suits her, I really wanted to incorporate roses, because of her name. But skulls and roses both would be too much. I played with the idea of using other flowers, like poppies(which represent death and remembrance, and are used as a symbol to honor the fallen of WWI and veterans. I thought it could be fitting because WWI was at the tail end of this time period). But I ended up not really liking it as much.

Black roses symbolize death, which is obvious enough. The greyish ones were mostly just to contrast the black.

Hair: Seems the Edwardians were obsessed with the pompadour. Rosie most likely does not have short hair, but long hair in an updo.

Full Demon: I wanted Rosie to have a full demon form. We don't have a canon one, so I took the liberty of doing it myself, and creatively called it "Spooky Rosie". I wanted it to be skeletal in appearance, and have long nails. I ended up taking inspiration from the Beldam/Other Mother from Coraline. As well as wendigos.

Wendigo: A wendigo is a spirit from Algonquian-speaking Native American/First Nation Tribes. I possesses and/or transforms people, giving them an insatiable craving for human flesh. The myths are particularly common in northern areas, where there can be intense winters. They are often used as a cautionary tale warning about greed, selfishness, and descent into savagery.

The original myths didn't really include an antlered creature. I think that might be a more modern pop-culture addition. They are supposed to look more like freaky emaciated people. The game Until Dawn has a pretty good depiction.

Which, coincidentally, resembles the cannibals in hazbin(more so than Alastor. So I don't think he's a wendigo). I doubt that was intentional, but I just think the coincidence is interesting. I can take inspiration from the appearance, but I won't be explicitly calling anyone a wendigo. I just figured it was worth addressing here.
