first things first apparently you dont know what Domestication is if you think that it makes any sense to compare a fucking house cat to native ones. domesticated cats are literally an Invasive Species that are responsible for billions, literally billions, a number so high we can not physically comprehend it, YEARLY. all this on top of the many species that have been driven to Extinction because you dont feel like actually caring for little miss fluffy

in fact, its SO Funny that you mention wildcats as some kind of gotcha, because the scottish wildcat is on the brink of extinction and oh shit you wanna know what one of the greatest parts of that is ?

deeply incredibly funny that you like all other dipshits like you humanize cats and go to "would YOU want to be LOCKED UP your whole life ??" as if cats have the same concepts & thoughts as us. i have been around cats literally since i was born. all throughout the 10+ cats that have been in my life throughout that time i can assure you that theyve been perfectly happy & content being inside because we have always, oh shit, what a concept this is coming up, actually played with them! given them toys and spent time with them! what a concept! actually caring for your cat instead of just chucking them outside and calling getting chased by hawks enrichment!

would you allow literally any other pet to wonder around outside unsupervised? a dog? a ferret? a hamster? pet bird? lizard? snake? all of those seem to survive just fine outside before they were domesticated. why dont you chuck those outside too?

my current cat as well as my parents' current cat are both former street cats found outside and now living in happy, comfortable homes, and i can assure you they both have had Ample opportunities to run outside if they desired it that much, and neither have taken it.

the average lifespan of an outdoor cat is astronomically lower than that of an indoor cat, just a little well documented fun fact for you

all this on top of the fact that there are plenty of ways to provide outdoor time to your cat in safe & healthy ways if you do the minimal effort. leash train your cat. have supervised outdoor time in an enclosed space. build a catio. if you actually give a single shit about your pet, the animal that is UNDER YOUR CARE, youd maybe consider that instead of just throwing them outside

you realize this is a PET, right? an animal? a DOMESTICATED ANIMAL? a pet, something that you have taken in and accepted the health & safety of?

as always it's truly incredible how easy @staff finds it to block trans women and yet when nazis and terfs are rampant on here their blogs stay up for years and years despite tons of reports and then blatantly breaking tumblr rules to harass people 😍

hey what's up everyone it's Alice lizardsister I guess ive finally officially become a trans woman given that @staff nuked my blog WITH no warning! no email explanation! nothing! aside from the crime of existing as a trans woman on this site

anyone another big reminder that despite all their claims otherwise @staff really seems continued to be dedicated to singling out trans women while doing absolutely nothing about the rampant transmisogyny on here. this is on top of the racism present & @staff's deletion of black users on here & cleansing of different tags like the Ferguson one that goes back years before any of this as well - something that isn't personally targeted at me as a white woman, but something that i wouldn't feel right not mentioning as well

we'll see if i actually dedicate myself to rebuilding on this new blog / if i ever want to continue being on this website anymore, but i at least wanted to get the word out that @staff is still very much up to their bullshit. i would like to emphasize again that this came with absolutely zero prior warnings, zero email explanation on what i even did, and several hours later no response from staff when i sent into an inquiry on where my blog went

i'd like to say for any mutuals/friends on here who have worried that im doing okay and honestly am currently seeing the humor in the situation in just how blatant this shit is, and I appreciate everyone who's been wondering about me 💚
